The feelings you experienced were only human! If it were me, I would’ve been a psycho-bridezilla-bitch. And I feel the same way about that all-inclusive tucked away inland vs being set on the cliffs. The cliffs have a totally different vibe! That sucks that you had to suffer through the emotional trauma that you did. But I’m glad it worked out in the end and now you have a great story to tell! 🙂

I totally agree with your feelings about where the wedding would take place ( of course I would, mine will be in the same location!:) But even when we could not get all the guests to take the property and Sonia said we would have to move the ceremony from the restaurant to the sea song hut, it was not what I had envisioned, nor what I had packed decorations for, after a sleepless night wondering how to salvage what I had dreamed of we found a work around. I have spoken to so many brides who will be having beach and large resort weddings, it just does not change my mind about how I feel about Tensing Pen and how much the location sets the tone for the event.

Like Jenna said I am so glad it all worked out for you and the hubby in the end. I can only imagine how much stress and emotions you and everyone had going on that day. I completely understand how you feel about your expectations for your wedding. Like most said it will be a good story to tell the kids someday if you guys decide on having them. Also this was a testament to your strength as a couple.

Also, it's strange but even the hurricane is gorgeous down there. Scary, but gorgeous.
