I also bought clip in extensions for when I really missed my long hair. Don't fret! You have more options now than you did with long hair.

But I understand the mild panic you are feeling too. I've watched your tutorials in the past, and with the exception of the flat iron waves, you can do everything you were doing before. My hair is just a bit longer than yours is and your tutorials worked for me. I also use my Conair clipless iron a lot to get good body so you are on the right track–just don't give up on your hair!

But I COMPLETELY understand about the hair attachment. I'm sure we'll talk about it more in depth. The clear gloss treatment? I had it done once, and I don't think it was particularly noticeable on me (but my hair is pretty healthy already). I always get a ton more compliments on shine and healthiness when I use some S-Factor Dream Drops!

After I stopped playing volleyball (when I HAD to be able to get my hair into a high ponytail), my hairdresser was nearly cackling in delight to cut my hair shorter. Try making smaller curls than you are used to. My hair curls very easily. I just use some mousse and finger-curl it, then let it air dry. I love doing that. But I'm not sure how your hair would do with that, since its so straight.

It always takes some time to get used to a new do. I love, love, love the Wen products. They have made my hair seem so much thicker and I never get any coming out when I shower. I have tried all the formulations and like the original Almond Mint the best. My husband loves it too.

I didn't read all the comments to see if anyone else suggested this but I just got a sample of this stuff called Pequi oil from Sephora and it's supposed to be good. They don't seem to be offering the sample online but perhaps if they have it in a store near you, you could get a sample to see if it works for you.

I love the Ojon stuff, it is really good to my hair but the smell sometimes gets to me. This new stuff smells like coconut.
