I've been away for awhile and totally concur with all yor packing tips! I'm a huge fan of separate bags/pouches for everything! Agreed with all of your points and LOVE your tip for the extra power strip! I've never thought of that one but you are SO right! I'm going to add that to my travel items drawer!

I am off to Australia next month (from New Zealand…so not as epic as it sounds!) and because it's so much warmer there I am all excited about summer clothes. I want to take 4 pairs of shoes. I am taking carry on only. This could be a debacle.
Your advice is totally sound and I'll definitely be referring back to this post for a good old dose of common sense in about four weeks – you make it all sound so nice and calm and organised. Definitely finding some of those packing cubes too!
