When my candles are almost dead, i put them into the freezer to get the wax out. After a few days in there. the wax usually pops right out in one piece. But i love the idea..I might have to glitter my otter box this summer!! 🙂

I just glittered a letter "g" for my wreath and wss pleasantly surprised to have a non glitter shedding addition to my yarn wreath!

Cute idea! I love Modge Podge. To get out a little wax from jars. I do this and it works everytime!!
Run your tap water as hot as you can get it and fill up the rest of the candle jar then pour a squirt of liquid detergent on it and let it set overnight. When it cools, it seperates from the glass and you can pop it right out 🙂

Thanks so much for posting this. I tried it out on a little glass jar I wanted to sit on my desk and hold paperclips. It turned out great! I liked it so much, now I'm glittering my tape dispenser to match. 🙂

In reply to Lucy De Rouge. My case looks exactly the same but I don't use it for long periods of time. I switch my phone cases out almost every 2 weeks. (I have a lot of cases!) :) I really didn't have any problems with glitter falling off of mine.

I definitely am one that has a glitter addiction ever since I took normal glass ornaments and glittered the inside and did the same thing for mason jars to make center pieces! We found that when you are doing deep concave surfaces like jars or ornaments you can use pledge floor wax and roll it around, dump it out and then apply glitter and it sticks! It's a much cheaper option than modgepodge which you can then save to make cute phone cases or other projects!

This is so cool! I know this seems a stupid question but how long has all the glitter lasted on the case – just because I actually purchased one online and it was terrible and all the glitter fell off!

In reply to Tristan Lerner. I used a hard plastic case which I think is probably best but since mod podge can basically stick to almost anything you should be pretty safe with any material. It just might be harder to get a smooth even surface with something like rubber. Hope that helps!
