I wished for snow this season in Seattle and man did my wish come true! We have had multiple snow days recently so while we were stuck at home I knew we had to make the best of it. Layla and I spent time each day playing outside in the snow and it forced me to get creative with cozy winter outfits so I could enjoy the time outside. I wanted to share some suggestions on what to wear on a snow day so you can enjoy the time outside with your kids and still feel put together!
WHAT TO WEAR ON A SNOW DAY
Obviously the key to dressing for a snow day is about warmth. A warm coat and good boots are essential and I like adding elements of style with cozy sweaters and fun accessories. Snow day outfits need to be functional but I still like to feel cute and put together and these pieces below do just that!
OUTFIT #1:
I’m all about teddy coats this season and this one I am wearing is so soft and really warm! It has a hood too which is great for really chilly days. I know I will be wearing this all season as it’s so soft, and these boots are the best for the snow as they has waterproof soles.
OUTFIT #3:
A colorful coat feels instantly stylish and I found this pretty pink one for under $150! Pair it with a colorful knit hat and killer boots and you’re ready to head out into the snow!
