For the past four weeks, I have used the Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 moisturizer to replace my nighttime moisturizer and I wanted to share my review as it’s made such a difference in my skin. I have been wanting to try retinol products as I’ve heard about the great benefits for your skin, but the ones that I’ve tried before have made irritated my skin after using it. When I saw that Olay released this collection, I just had to try it out as I’ve trusted Olay products for my skin for years.
My results with Olay Retinol24
I was so happy that I did not have any irritation with the Olay Retinol 24 moisturizer and after 4 weeks, my skin feels so much brighter and smoother. And not only that, I’ve been wearing less makeup just because I feel like I have less to cover up! It’s greatly improved my fine line, wrinkles and dark spots. As I mentioned, I’ve been using the cream at night. It’s lightweight and goes on much like the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream. It’s not heavy on your skin and gets absorbed pretty quickly. I also love that it’s fragrance free!
The other two products in the line are the eye cream and the serum which work similarly. With the eye cream you will want to use it after your moisturizer and the serum is best used after cleansing but before moisturizing. What’s great about all these products is that you can choose what’s best for your skin, their non greasy and great for daily use.
Something that I learned is that the amount of retinol in a product doesn’t matter so much as the way it’s combined with other ingredients. Olay’s formula with vitamin B3 plus retinoid complex is very hydrating and has worked so much better for me than other retinol creams that I’ve tried.
A lot of women, including me, stopped using retinol products because they can be irritating to the skin or you don’t even see the results. I’m really excited that I haven’t experienced irritation with the Retinol24 moisturizer and that it’s made a big difference in my skin. And another reason why I love it? The cost! Just like all the other Olay products that I love, the price point is so affordable!
