I can’t resist a good sale, especially a designer handbag sale!
I shopped my heart out at the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale but still saved some money to get myself a new bag because I knew there would be some great sales.
Remember, designer sales only happen twice a year so if you don’t get a deal now, the next sale will be late fall in November! Otherwise read on for a round up of the best online shops to score a great deal on a designer bag!
SSENSE
SSENSE is one of my favorite online shops because they carry a lot of designer bags that no one else carries and their sales always have a great selection. Things also don’t sell out as quickly here so you don’t have to feel like you missed out in case you weren’t able to shop the sales right when they were released.
Another bonus: since they are based in Canada, I don’t get charged sales tax which is a huge plus when buying pricier items. (A caveat: you may be charged duties and taxes at customs, but it doesn’t always happen) . Shipping is free and always super fast – only 2-3 days!

NET-A-PORTER
Net-a-porter is another great site with a huge selection and a ton of designers that you don’t see in department stores. I love to shop their site and look for hidden treasures that I haven’t seen anywhere else.
I have been obsessed with the Chloe Faye backpack for such a long time. I really want to get this one now that it’s on sale!
SAKS FIFTH AVENUE
I’ve always been a fan of the Saks sale, however I will have to say that I usually score better deals in store than I do online. Most department stores will usually do 30-40% off for first round but it’s always good to follow up in a few weeks when they do 2nd markdowns. Sometimes you can find amazing deals for 50%-60% off the original price!

THE REAL REAL
I’m cheating a little as this isn’t technically a sale but The Real Real is one of my favorite places to score a designer bag at a great price. They sell pre-owned bags but they are very picky about what they take so you always know that you are getting the best pre-owned quality and authentic bag.
Chanel bag prices are getting insane so I love having a place like The Real Real to still be able to buy Chanel at a somewhat reasonable price. This reissue (which retails for $6400) is $2500 which honestly is a great price for a classic Chanel bag.

I’ve found that Barneys definitely has their own style of clothing and shoes so although they carry a lot of designers that the bigger department stores do, their selection is more refined and curated so it’s also a bit easier to shop online and in stores.
