DESIGNER SHOES & BAGS ON SALE
This is the time if you’d had your eye on a designer item to snatch it up on sale! Shop my must haves below.
If you are a long time reader, you know I LOVE designer bag and shoe sale time! I very rarely buy my designer items full price and wait to purchase this time of the year. They only do this sale twice a year so it’s something I look forward to!
A lot of people don’t realize that brands like Saint Laurent, Chloe, Balenciaga and even Christian Louboutin go on sale! They do once in the winter and once in the summer and the reason why it’s hard to get pieces is because there are lots of people (like me) that stalk the websites as well as have sales associates that let us know as soon as items start going on sale! I have bought my last few bags over DM on instagram because my SA sends me photos as soon as she knows what’s going on sale!
Where to buy Designer Bags and Shoes on Sale
My favorite place in store to buy my designer items is Nordstrom mostly because they are one of the few stores here in Seattle that have a large selection, but I do buy a lot online as well. Here are the top online shops to buy designer bags and shoes on sale.
Nordstrom
My caveat here is that Nordstrom has a way better selection in store, but this is limited to your local store. The Seattle store is one of the largest stores which is why they have such a huge selection but my sales associate really helps me out in that when I find a bag that I like she will call other stores to track it down. Once she does, she charges my card and ships it to me for free! It is so nice having someone help me track down the styles that I love. Online the selection is smaller but there are still some great styles. I think that Nordstrom has the best designer shoe selection and it’s always worth it to browse online!
Net a Porter
I’ve shopped at Net a Porter forever and I love that shipping is fast and returns are easy. Also everything is sent to you packaged beautifully! They have an amazing selection in both shoes and handbags. They also do a few markdowns so it will start at around 30-40% off and then they will have 2nd markdowns probably in a month or so.
Neiman Marcus
One of my favorite department stores and I think their online selection is just as good as what I can find in store.
Mytheresa
I just started shopping at Mytheresa but what I love is that even though they are based in Europe, shipping is so fast and all prices include taxes and duties so you don’t have to worry about another bill coming through later on from customs. I purchased there recently and got my package within 3 days! I had to return and was really impressed with how fast and easy returns were as well. They didn’t make me chase down the package or anything, notified me as soon as they got it and then refunded me.
SSENSE
I’ve ordered from SSENSE several times and I”m always impressed with their shipping and returns. They have the best selection in sale bags. I notice that some styles will be on sale here but not on other sites, so this is a great one to check if a bag you have your eye on might be on sale! They have a great selection of shoes as well.
Designer bags and shoes go on sale twice a year and this season’s sale had so much great selection. Check out all of the pieces I got plus some more great sale finds below. Also don’t miss my first IGTV video where I show my entire haul and some of my tips to shopping the sales (how to snag all the best items before anyone else!).
My favorite places to shop designer sales are Nordstrom, Ssense, Saks and Net-a-porter. Unfortunately most of the items I purchased in this haul are sold out now, but I have found some great similar options on sale below:
Gucci metallic bag
My first sale find was this pink metallic chevron Gucci bag and I am obsessed with it. I actually have this bag in black, but I loved this pink version and was able to snag it for about 20% off from the Nordstrom sale.
This bag unfortunately is sold out now, but here are a few more colorful crossbody options on sale that I love:
Chloe Mini Faye
This was the second bag that I got from the Nordstrom sale and I absolutely love it. It is the Chloe Mini Faye Bag and I have been eyeing it for awhile. It looks black but it’s actually a really dark navy which I think is so gorgeous. This one I snagged on pre-sale and I highly recommend if you are interested in purchasing designer bags to find a sales associate at Nordstrom (or wherever you are shopping) to help you snag items before the sale actually starts! I share all my tips on how to shop designer sales (and get all the good stuff before anyone else!) on this post and video. I talk on about shoes on that post but it pertains to bags as well!

Louboutin heels on sale
When I am shopping for designer shoes on sale, I typically like to shop in person so I can try them on. Also, a lot of high end shoes don’t make it online for sales to it’s best to get in store right away to snag some great styles. For all of my designer shoe sale shopping tips, don’t miss this post here.
I got these fun printed Louboutin heels when I stopped by the Nordstrom sale. They are so comfortable considering the height! They were originally $775 and I got them for about 30% off.
Some more great designer shoe sale finds here:
Buying pre-owned Chanel
Although this wasn’t on sale per se, I had to mention these pre-owned Chanel pumps from The Real Real. These shoes are in amazing condition and I got these for under $300. If you have not checked out The Real Real yet, you need to! They have so many good finds and although pre-owned, everything they offer is in great condition.
More finds I love from The Real Real here:
Saint Laurent Lou Lou Monogramme Chain Bag
I love the quality of YSL bags and when I saw this pink Lou Lou Chain bag on sale at Ssense, I knew I had to have it. I actually waited for the second markdown to purchase this bag, so the bag ended up being about 30% off! Such a great deal.
Remember, designer sales only happen twice a year so if you don’t get a deal now, the next sale will be late fall in November! Head here for a quick overview of the best designer bags and shoes on sale. I will keep that page updated as I find more styles on sale. Otherwise read on for a round up of the best online shops to score a great deal on a designer bag!
SSENSE is one of my favorite online shops because they carry a lot of designer bags that no one else carries and their sales always have a great selection. Things also don’t sell out as quickly here so you don’t have to feel like you missed out in case you weren’t able to shop the sales right when they were released.
Another bonus: since they are based in Canada, I don’t get charged sales tax which is a huge plus when buying pricier items. (A caveat: you may be charged duties and taxes at customs, but it doesn’t always happen) . Shipping is free and always super fast – only 2-3 days!
Net-a-porter is another great site with a huge selection and a ton of designers that you don’t see in department stores. I love to shop their site and look for hidden treasures that I haven’t seen anywhere else.
I have been obsessed with the Chloe Faye backpack for such a long time. I really want to get this one now that it’s on sale!
I’ve always been a fan of the Saks sale, however I will have to say that I usually score better deals in store than I do online. Most department stores will usually do 30-40% off for first round but it’s always good to follow up in a few weeks when they do 2nd markdowns. Sometimes you can find amazing deals for 50%-60% off the original price!
I’m cheating a little as this isn’t technically a sale but The Real Real is one of my favorite places to score a designer bag at a great price. They sell pre-owned bags but they are very picky about what they take so you always know that you are getting the best pre-owned quality and authentic bag.
Chanel bag prices are getting insane so I love having a place like The Real Real to still be able to buy Chanel at a somewhat reasonable price. This reissue (which retails for $6400) is $2500 which honestly is a great price for a classic Chanel bag.
I’ve found that Barneys definitely has their own style of clothing and shoes so although they carry a lot of designers that the bigger department stores do, their selection is more refined and curated so it’s also a bit easier to shop online and in stores.
I can’t do enough posts about Amazon Prime Day. There are just so many good things on sale! The one thing about Amazon is that it’s impossible to shop. I can understand the frustration of clicking through pages and pages of stuff and not really knowing what I’m looking at. Because I do shop on Amazon quite frequently, I’ve learned little tips and tricks to help me find what I need. I was just browsing and noticing how many cute shoes are currently included in the Amazon Prime Day Deals. Most of these are 30% off their original price and because a lot of these are Designer brands, it’s just so rare to see any kind of discounts on them. Anyway, onto my picks, go shop now as the discount ends at midnight tonight!
Nothing like a good shoe sale to make a girl happy, am I right? 🙂
I only buy shoes a few times a year and that’s during designer shoe sale time! I’ve shopped these shoe sales for so many years that I’ve got it down to a science. People are always asking me how where I get my shoes and how I find them on sale so I made a video to share my tips and tricks! It’s not as simple as just stumbling upon a sale and buying them off the rack as there are so many other ladies wanting to nab the good shoes as well. In my video I share how I score great shoes on sale both in store and online. I also share my most recent shoe sale haul which happen to all be Louboutin – I share with you where I got them and how much I saved! Check it out below.
I’ve had my Chanel mini flap bag for a little bit now and I have had a few readers ask me about the bag so I put together a video on what I liked about it, what I carry in it and what it looks like on me. Overall it’s such a fun bag and although it looks small it carries a lot, I would say the same if not more than a medium flap! The one thing is, if you are going to be carrying it around as much as I do and use it as an everyday bag, try to get the caviar leather. The lambskin is so delicate and I’ve noticed the corners are looking a bit weary. Overall, it’s still a favorite bag.
As far as I know, these bags sell very quickly and there is usually a waitlist for them. If you really want one, the best bet is to let a sales associate know what you are looking for. If you are not picky about color, you will have better luck. But just let them know and you will be put on the waitlist so that the second they get one in, it can be yours!
If you are thinking about getting the Chanel mini bag or just want to know more about it, I hope this video is helpful!
Here’s a few mini Chanel bags that I found around the internet. All of them are from reliable places to buy vintage or previously owned bags. I mentioned in my video about the mini that’s the more square size. I think because that style came out first it’s easier to find vintage/previously owned styles of.
Just a few more fun photos of the bag! Hope you guys enjoy the video. Would love if you subscribed to my channel! I will be making more videos and if you subscribe you’ll be the first to see them! And also follow me on instagram, I post way more photos on there than I do on the blog!
