If you are a long time reader, you know I LOVE designer bag and shoe sale time! I very rarely buy my designer items full price and wait to purchase this time of the year. They only do this sale twice a year so it’s something I look forward to!
A lot of people don’t realize that brands like Saint Laurent, Chloe, Balenciaga and even Christian Louboutin go on sale! They do once in the winter and once in the summer and the reason why it’s hard to get pieces is because there are lots of people (like me) that stalk the websites as well as have sales associates that let us know as soon as items start going on sale! I have bought my last few bags over DM on instagram because my SA sends me photos as soon as she knows what’s going on sale!
Where to buy Designer Bags and Shoes on Sale
My favorite place in store to buy my designer items is Nordstrom mostly because they are one of the few stores here in Seattle that have a large selection, but I do buy a lot online as well. Here are the top online shops to buy designer bags and shoes on sale.
Nordstrom
My caveat here is that Nordstrom has a way better selection in store, but this is limited to your local store. The Seattle store is one of the largest stores which is why they have such a huge selection but my sales associate really helps me out in that when I find a bag that I like she will call other stores to track it down. Once she does, she charges my card and ships it to me for free! It is so nice having someone help me track down the styles that I love. Online the selection is smaller but there are still some great styles. I think that Nordstrom has the best designer shoe selection and it’s always worth it to browse online!
Net a Porter
I’ve shopped at Net a Porter forever and I love that shipping is fast and returns are easy. Also everything is sent to you packaged beautifully! They have an amazing selection in both shoes and handbags. They also do a few markdowns so it will start at around 30-40% off and then they will have 2nd markdowns probably in a month or so.
Neiman Marcus
One of my favorite department stores and I think their online selection is just as good as what I can find in store.
Mytheresa
I just started shopping at Mytheresa but what I love is that even though they are based in Europe, shipping is so fast and all prices include taxes and duties so you don’t have to worry about another bill coming through later on from customs. I purchased there recently and got my package within 3 days! I had to return and was really impressed with how fast and easy returns were as well. They didn’t make me chase down the package or anything, notified me as soon as they got it and then refunded me.
SSENSE
I’ve ordered from SSENSE several times and I”m always impressed with their shipping and returns. They have the best selection in sale bags. I notice that some styles will be on sale here but not on other sites, so this is a great one to check if a bag you have your eye on might be on sale! They have a great selection of shoes as well.
