It’s almost time for Spring cleaning which has my mind on organizing my home. I have been thinking about creative ways to store clothing in our space so I thought it’d be fun to share my best clothing storage ideas with you. These tips are great no matter what size your home is but are really great storage solutions if you don’t have a closet!
Check out the best clothing storage ideas without a closet!
Clothing Racks:
This is my go-to way for extra clothing storage in my home. I love displaying clothing and accessories on these racks as they are functional and pretty at the same time. I also love these as it makes it so easy to plan out outfits seeing them hung this way.
I just got this new rack from Amazon and I love the addition of the shelf on the bottom for accessories. I recorded the IGTV video below showing you how easy it was to build this!
It took me under 10 minutes by myself and I am really pleased with the quality for the price.
If you have the space a wardrobe is a really great alternative to a closet, as it is basically a free standing closet. Most come with a combination of a rack and shelves making them really useful for all of your clothing and accessories to have a place.
I’m a sucker for pretty baskets! I use them for so many things around my home and I think they would be so cute on a book shelf or placed in your room for a clothing storage solution.
This is a really great option if you’re in a smaller apartment as they double as cute decor and hide the clutter!
Tap on the photos below to shop these storage bins. Both are great for the closet but you can also use them anywhere in the house.

I don’t love the cold but I look forward to the winter because hello, sweater season! I love my sweaters and shopping for sweaters. Honestly, it’s kind of an addiction! I uploaded my 6 chic and easy winter outfit ideas over on my youtube with some of my favorite sweaters of the season! You can watch it here or below and keep reading for all the details of the looks I featured. And hit the subscribe button over on my channel so you don’t miss out on any new videos! I’ve been trying to upload a new video once a week and would love for you to join me over there!
In love with this ($14) cold shoulder sweater! It’s just so darn cute. You obviously know I’m a fan of the ruffles. I just love the cute details on an otherwise basic sweater.
The best part of this sweater is the back, it instantly makes it fun! Don’t miss out on a smilar sweater with the details on the sleeves! I normally stay away from white jeans in winter just because it’s always raining here and rain = mud, but I do love the look so I’ll just be pulling them out on those rare non rainy days that we have.
You already saw this cute heart patch sweater and had to include it as it’s still a favorite and in high rotation in my closet. It’s so cute to wear with leggings and sneakers for a casual day or I’ve also worn it with the black skirt from look 2 and it’s super cute dressed up too.
It’s here! Now everyone can shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I finally made it to downtown Nordstrom and tried on a bunch of stuff and bought a bunch of stuff! This is a huge long post, but keep reading so you can see all my finds! I think this year is one of Nordstrom’s best years yet! I love so many things. I was so happy with my buys I even had my sales person take a photo of me with my bags before I left. LOL I have no shame but isn’t the wall paper so cute?
I tried everything on for you in my latest youtube video so if you want to see everything on me, check it out here! I also tried on a few things in the video that I didn’t have a chance to photograph yet. Please subscribe to my channel to keep up with me there as well!
Also just wanted to point out that everything except for one thing is under $50!! Yay for affordable picks from the Nordstrom Sale!
This dress was surprisingly one of my favorites. I’ve always been a fan of drop waist dresses – my wedding dress was a drop waist! I just loved the fit and the print of this dress.
Another cute dress, love all the details, especially the fun sleeves! I also love that both were a good length on me and I think it would work fine for anyone taller or shorter than me.
These shorts are one of my favorites ever! Funny story – I saw them on the wall hanging at the very top and I was jumping around trying to grab my size but it was so hard to read the tags (short people problems). I probably looked ridiculous, but I ended up finding my sales associate and she grabbed them for me. I’m so glad I did not give up on them though, they are SO cute. I love the pleats and how it looks like a skirt. They really dress up an outfit.
And I can never resist a cute button up so I grabbed this one and was not disappointed. I love that it kind of looks like a pajama top. I know I’ll be wearing this a lot!
I asked my sales associate to help me grab some more cute tops and she brought me the same top but in this satin/silk material and I fell in love! The color and the material is so pretty. And I know it may be hectic the first day of the sale, but if you can, have your sales associate help you find stuff that you may not have seen. I just told her the kind of tops I was interested in and she found a bunch. They are happy that they will probably get more commission and I’m more happy that I don’t have to leave the dressing room to hunt and can just get cute stuff to try on! It’s a win-win! Satin Pajama Top: Size S $45.90 Distressed jeans: Size 26 $52.90
Ooooh this top… man I told you so many cute things this year. I love this color, the material (it’s lightweight and stays tucked in) and those sleeves! Seriously one of my faves!
This is a great basic sweater with a twist with those bell sleeves. Oh and it’s SO soft. I hate buying sweaters only to find out later that it’s so itchy. This one is not itchy at all and so comfy. The jeans are by Topshop and I although I have so many pairs of distressed jeans, I had to get another. These fit so well but I did size up on them.
This was a top that my sales associate found for me. I loved it but it was too similar to the silky button down top (it was basically the same color) so I passed on this one but I had to show you guys as I still think it’s a cute top.
Another top I didn’t get but I love the details! It’s an asymmetrical hem and has split sleeves as well. I did buy those skinny jeans (they were only $40!). I love dark skinny jeans and I can always use another pair.
This top is so cute, but I also left this one behind. I love it but I know that once the weather turns here I will not be wanting to wear anything off the shoulder and I liked the other tops better.
I have two more online orders that I placed that I’m still waiting for. Once I get those items in, I’ll shoot another video and blog post! Also I’ve been keeping this page updated with all the items that I’ve either ordered or tried on that I love. I will keep on updating it but if you ever need a link to anything you see on me here or on instagram, you can find it on this page!
I’ve been trying to get on instagram stories more often as I really love being able to interact with you guys this way. I did a really quick little shopping haul of a bunch of stuff I just got in the mail. I posted it to my facebook page as well and got a lot of great feedback about it which I really appreciate! I sometimes feel like I’m blogging to nobody so it’s nice to hear from those of you reading and following along. Anyway, in case you missed it on both my instagram and facebook, I wanted to share it here as well!
And ignore the “swipe up” comments as that’s a new feature that Instagram released that allows you to shop directly from the instagram stories which is pretty darn neat! I linked to all the items I tried on below.
I have found some really great finds on Amazon fashion lately and love their new clothing lines, (they have a few that is just exclusive to them.) But make sure that you are a prime member first so that you can order them! I’ve said it a million times but prime is so good. Free 2 day shipping for so many things on Amazon. I mean I don’t know how I lived without it!
I got a few more things in from the Nordstrom Half Yearly sale but these were my favorite. I was surprised to see they were still available so get them while you can when they are on sale!
We got quite a few new things in at T&J Designs. I’m loving the new tops and bombers! Check out the new arrivals here and shop this week as we are doing Friends & Family and you can get 20% – 30% off your entire order.
I finally filmed a new video! I’m so excited for spring that I stocked up on the cutest dresses and shoes that I can’t wait to wear until it’s warmer out. I’m also in the midst of planning our summer vacation so I was also in vacation mode while putting this video together! I’m either thinking Disney Cruise or Hawaii. Which would you choose?
Just a quick video of my latest haul, you’ll see all the dresses, shoes and accessories that I show here (and a few more pieces). If you can’t see it in your browser click HERE to watch it on youtube.
I love being nosy and seeing people’s home and office spaces so I thought I’d give you guys a peek at my office space! My office is not completely decorated just yet, it’s still a work in progress but check out my latest video and I show you my office space and what I keep on my desk!
And here’s everything that I mentioned in the video:
I am in LOVE with this rug. It’s just so pretty! Thank you to Rugs USA for sending it over. Mine is the 5×8 size. I also love this pink and white diamond shag rug I want to get it for my daughter’s room. Oh and I’m completely in love with this Moroccan Diamond Shag Rug, I’m just trying to figure out where to put it!
I posted a new video! Sharing what I carry in my work bag – the Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM. Just wanted to share what I take to the office and what I can’t live without for my work.
Here’s everything that I mentioned:
Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM
– I bought this at the LV store years ago and the price just keeps on
going up every year! There are a lot of great pre-loved bags out there
that are much more reasonably priced but I will say that this bag is
worth the investment. I’ve used it practically every day since the day I
bought it. It even doubled as diaper bag for me when I first had my
daughter!
Bag Pom Poms/Keychains – I have one on every bag now! I can’t help it I think they are so cute.
Day Designer for Target – I love this planner. It is probably my favorite planner of them all. The price is great too! Considering most of the other ones this size go for $40+, you certainly can’t beat $9.99.
Sugar Paper Planner – Why do I need a second planner? Well the one above is simply too big! But I feel lost when I’m out and I don’t have a planner on me so this is my solution and I love it. This one is small but has big enough spaces to write in and I keep my most important tasks/appointments in this one.
Macbook Pro Case – I’ve had this case for years and it still looks great! Mine is a light pink but I’m loving this hot pink case! The Speck cases are really well made. I’ve seen other similar cases but are a lot flimsier.
External Harddrive – I have 3 external hard drives. As a photographer I have WAY too many photos that I don’t want to get rid of. This one is the slimmest that I found and that’s why I carry it with me.
Macbook Charger – Beware when you search “Macbook Charger” on Amazon as there are listings where it seems like you are getting authentic Apple ones but instead you get horrible copies made in china that do not work. Luckily I didn’t end up buying one of those as I read all the reviews and got scared off. But I did find this one and it doesn’t claim to be Apple branded but it is at least compatible and works great! I also like traveling with it since it’s lighter than the regular Macbook charger.
iPhone charging cable – I’m of the “you can never have too many phone chargers” camp. So I’m all about these cables. Don’t get tricked by super cheap iphone charging cables from China. I know because I bought them (when I was in china!) and tried to plug my phone and they either freaked out (kept on buzzing and turning my phone on and off) or they simply just do nothing. I now have a stockpile of these Amazon ones and they all work fantastic. These are the best priced lightning to USB cables that I’ve found.
Le Pens – these are truly the best planner/agenda pens! They write so well and I color code everything in my planner so love having all these pretty colors.
Diamond Pens – And these are great everyday writing pens. The diamond on top is just so me! Love them and how gorgeous are the colors of the pens. They come in a set so you get all of these! They now come in polka dots too! So cute.
Chanel planner clips – these are so cute and really well made! They ship from New Zealand so shipping can take awhile but well worth the wait. I haven’t found anyone else that makes these so they are one of a kind!
Sunglasses – my favorites and they come in gold and rose gold.
I talk a little bit about my business in the video and wanted to gauge some interest in a video talking more about my business and how my sister and I started it. I get those questions a lot in real life so I figured it may be fun to make a video about it. If you guys have any questions about my business, how we started it, how we’ve grown it, etc… let me know in the comments or shoot me an email and I’ll include the answers in the video if I can. And if you guys liked the video please subscribe, it would be amazing if you did! Thank you! 🙂
