It’s finally here! The 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Dressing Room Review and Try ons!
NORDSTROM DEPARTMENT BENTO ANNIVERSARY SHOPPING LUNCH
I went to the Nordstrom Bellevue location yesterday for a special brunch, where we got to eat at the new restaurant called Department Bento and see a presentation of some of Nordstom’s best items on sale. They were even kind enough to provide us with a gift card to shop! WHAT I BOUGHT AT THE #NSALE
I ended up buying a ton for both me and my daughter (more on that later) but wanted to share ALL my favorite dressing room finds. Just a reminder, at this time, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is only open for Nordstrom cardholders to get early access to all the sale prices. Public sale starts on the 20th! THE BEST TEES, TOPS AND SWEATERS AT THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE
Just a quick review of everything I tried on but keep scrolling to see all the items on me!
I tried on a bunch of tees (some were not on sale but reasonably priced) as the fall is all about cardigans and jackets and wanted some great fitting tees to wear underneath. Love all these!

These are all such great basics that will take you from fall to winter. I tried to stay away from too much black as I wanted to add some more colors as I own way to many black and gray sweaters.

So many good jeans on sale! Now is the time to stock up. You’ll see these on me below but here are my top 4 choices for skinny jeans for petite women (but really for anyone who wants a good pair of skinny jeans.)

DRESSING ROOM TRY ON
Keep in mind I am 6 months pregnant in these photos and I’m trying to shop for items that I can wear after my pregnancy! I have crammed my bump into my regular size jeans as it’s my goal to get back into shape once the baby is here. I’m hoping I can do it!

In almost all the tops/sweaters I am wearing a size XS and the jeans I’m wearing are size 25. I’m 5’2″ and most of Nordstrom clothes fit true to size for me.
THE SWEATER TO WEAR ALL WINTER
Starting off with my favorite sweater. So cozy and love the long length! Will be great all winter and is super snuggly. Comes in lots of colors. I’m wearing the size Small here but I ended up ordering the XS so I could compare sizing.
These are the AG jeans and the amount of distressing is perfect! As you can see I rolled them up to fit the ankle height of these shoes, but will be great to wear with booties in the fall.

I’m loving a bit of a preppy look so this cardigan is perfect! Comes in quite a few colors and I like that it’s a shorter style cardigan as I bought quite a few long cardigans for the fall.

CASHMERE ON SALE
A cashmere sweater is a must have and you need to stock up during the Anniversary Sale. You won’t get better prices on cashmere anywhere else. Love the button detail on the sleeve!
SWEATER || JEANS
I have a ton of basic sweaters so I love that they updated this one with the balloon sleeves. So cute and will be a staple in your fall/winter wardrobe.
SWEATER || JEANS
A ruffle sleeve top is always a win in my book! I love having these kind of tops for casual days but you still want a fun element to your outfit. The Rag & Bone skinny jeans are a great dark wash and fits great.
TOP || JEANS
I saw this cardigan comes in petite sizing which I’m going to try. I’m wearing the regular XS which I found to be a bit too big/long on me but I think in petite it will be perfect!
SWEATER ||TOP || JEANS
This is my favorite outfit of them all. Mostly because it currently fits my pregnant body the best! haha! I only have this photo of the jeans but these are hands down my favorite jeans of them all. If you have yet to try Frame Denim, please use the sale as an excuse to try them. I promise, you won’t regret it! They are the most comfortable, stretchy, skinny denim by far. And this gray is the perfect color to mix in for fall and winter.
The top is also right up my alley. It’s a soft knit, super comfy, very forgiving in the belly area and comes in 4 colors. I’m wearing the XS so I would say it does run a bit large.
TOP || JEANS
PREPPY CARDIGAN WITH JEANS
You saw this sweater above but wanted to style it with a different tee as well. I love the cardigan/tee/jeans combo and will be wearing it a ton in fall. As a die hard Nordstrom fan, how could I resist the “but first, Nordstrom” tee? 🙂
Also, kind of a funny side note but the tee has a wrinkle right by my belly button so it totally looks like I have an outie but no, my belly button is still firmly an innie! Just thought it was funny especially with my baby bump it totally looks like it!
SWEATER || TOP || JEANS
I thought this cable knit sweater was such a pretty color and wanted to incorporate it into my wardrobe. I grabbed the non sale tee because I like the thick knit and at $29 it really is still such a good price for a nice basic. I find that spending a little bit more on basics is worth it as they do last longer and don’t end up losing their shape in the wash as much.

The $18 tee that everyone needs
I love that the neckline is just the right placement to add a necklace or scarf. Comes in so many colors and patterns! It’s a must have.
TEE || JEANS
If you are looking for a good basic blazer, this is it! It’s a thick knit that’s great for casual or at the office. It’s also super easy to wear so you can dress it up over a cute little black dress or looks great with jeans and a tee.
BLAZER || TEE (not on sale) || JEANS
This photo does this cute hoodie cardigan no justice. It really is so much cuter on and I plan on living in it this fall! Although this Madewell tee is not on sale, it’s a great buy at $24. Madewell has always made great basics that last forever.

SHOES AND BOOTS
I had spent so much time shopping for clothes for me and my daughter by the time I got to the shoe section, I was beat. I didn’t try these on but I have ordered them all online so will report back when I get them.
If you have yet to try out cut out booties, these are the ones to get! They are so flattering on and thank goodness for block heels, they make them so comfortable.
BOOTIES
I love to see the styles that Stuart Weitzman does for fall and he did not disappoint with these slouch boots. I got them in the natural color but I love the black too.
SLOUCH BOOTS
I’m a big fan of the block heels so I couldn’t resist these platforms. They are surprisingly comfortable to walk in and will look so cute with jeans and dresses. The cut out booties come in a few colors and I’m loving the white ones too!
BLOCK HEELS || BOOTIES
You may have seen these on my instagram (see below photo) and I have them in rose gold but they are one of my most comfortable pair of Nike sneakers! I wore them to the airport on my last trip and my pregnant feet were thanking me because they were so comfortable and really easy to take on/off at security. They run true to size, however I don’t wear socks with them. If you plan on wearing size, I would go up half size!
