So excited that there is a new way to shop with me: Amazon Live! I’ve never done livestreaming before but I wanted to try it out as I thought it seemed like such a great way to connect with followers and be able to shop together.
What is Amazon Live?
Basically, brands and Influencers host livestreams where we share products (all sold on Amazon) and you can shop and buy as you watch! You can also chat with us while you shop.
Why did you start doing Amazon Live?
I’ve been a blogger for over 10 years now and I’m so used to sharing my finds through my blog and my instagram. It’s always been done through words and photos and as much as I love it, it’s definitely not that interactive.
I used to get a lot of emails from readers but now it’s all through instagram DM’s or Facebook messages. A lot of the messages I get are about where to buy a certain item that I showed on my instagram but it often turns into chatting as well which I love!
It’s been fun connecting through those avenues but at the same time, sometimes I get so many messages that I get behind and it may take a few days or more for me to get back to everyone.
Since I shop on Amazon so much, I have always shared my favorite finds or purchases. Everything from Amazon Home Finds, Amazon Fashion Finds, to Baby and Kid Essentials on Amazon.
Through the affiliate platforms that I use I can track what are my best sellers and what isn’t selling so I know what my followers and readers are looking for.
My data showed that most of you were shopping more on Amazon!
When I looked at my numbers and reports for my business, I noticed that I had a huge increase in Amazon sales this past year. It’s very understandable since we are all at home a lot more and ordering online more than ever!
Combining the shopping aspect with connecting live with my readers and followers just seemed like the perfect next step in my business which is why I decided to jump into livestream shopping!
