For more casual settings I like to opt for cozy outfits that are still stylish. Here are some of my go-to casual outfit ideas that work for all body types and will be perfect for the festive season and all your holiday festivities!

Sweater Dress + Chelsea Boots

I adore sweater dresses at they are so cozy but also look so stylish.

You can definitely style something like this more formally, but I love the look of a sweater dress worn casually with flat boots or sneakers and a puffer coat thrown on top.

Red Sweater + Black Jeans

You can’t go wrong with classic red for the holidays – and this is the best outfit for an easy but very festive look!

The bright red sweater and pair of jeans is flattering, comfortable and the options are endless as to what silhouettes you choose for the top and bottom to flatter your body type the best.

This is such a cute outfit to take pics by the Christmas tree!

I recently wore this outfit and it’s one of my faves for the holiday season! If you want something a bit dressier, just swap out the black jeans for wide-leg pants and it’s a chic outfit but just as comfy as jeans.

Another option that is even more comfy are these sweater pants! I have been wearing these pants a ton.

Not only are they super warm and comfy, they just go with everything! I can dress them up and down. Here I’ve paired them with a puff sleeve top that is also really warm and comfy.

White Blouse + Boyfriend Jeans

We all have a favorite white blouse and pair of blue jeans. Style them together and you’ve got a gorgeous outfit for Christmas dinner!

I love the bow details on the sleeves on this top that add a bit extra do the outfit. I would pair this with pretty sparkly earrings or a red lip for a festive touch.

Tunic Sweater + Faux Leather Leggings

An ultra comfortable go-to outfit for me is an oversized tunic sweater and faux leather leggings! I love this look as it looks really put together but honestly feels like you’re in a lounge set.

You can pair this with combat boots, over the knee boots or sneakers, and don’t forget a cute jacket on top to complete the look.

You could also do this same outfit with a basic tank and a cable-knit cardigan instead of the tunic!

Family Christmas Pajamas

Need a more casual look? Rock your family Christmas pajamas or your favorite lounge set. This is the best outfit idea if you are staying in and lounging at home.

If you are located in cold winter weather, this would look great paired with fleece lined tights and booties as well.

Faux Leather Pants + Button-down Dress Shirt

Faux leather pants are trending lately and I love them dressed up for a more formal setting!

You can find them in all silhouettes (I love a wide-leg pant style!) and also in different color ways.

I would style these with a satin button up blouse tucked in, crystal earrings and sleek heels. You could also style this with a great bodysuit and a chic double-breasted blazer. This is a great option for your office party.

This sequin button-down shirt would be a great combo for Christmas but also New Year’s Eve as well!

Red Dress

An ultra festive option for a formal Christmas dinner or a gold skirt and a pretty sweater tucked in!

I absolutely love how festive the metallic gold is for a party and you can find gold skirts in all variations of lengths and fabrics to truly fit your style.

This skirt looks great with high heels but I also love the mix of casual with dressy so I’d pair it with some chunky sneakers too! If you are headed outside, add a leather jacket to keep you warm and still look super chic.

Sequin Dress

If you’re looking for fancy, a sequin dress is a sure thing! Look for ones that aren’t too form fitting like this one, where you still have a bit more room in the dress to sit and eat comfortably.
