Even though you may not be able to see a full knee-high boot underneath a maxi dress, is gives an extra later of warmth underneath your maxi dress to keep you comfortable.
Look for a maxi dress that has a slit and pair it with over the knee or knee-high height boots. It looks so chic and is ultra functional for cold weather climates.
You also want to be mindful of the sole, and when it comes to winter the chunkier the better.
