I’m a Chanel lover for life. Wether it’s bags, shoes, jewelry, I love it all. And Vintage Chanel sometimes is better than new! I own a clothing and jewelry line and I have gobs and gobs of jewelry unworn and samples everywhere. I certainly don’t NEED any more jewelry but I am still obsessed with Chanel jewelry. Every time I go to the boutique I love to see their new pieces. My husband got me this ring for my birthday and I can’t stop wearing it, it’s my favorite thing ever. It’s been posted on my instagram a few times (apologies if you are sick of seeing it! haha)

I’ve been to a couple of vintage Chanel trunk shows and I LOVE looking at the jewelry. Shopbop has a fab section of vintage Chanel and I love seeing their selection.

In my research I’ve found a few authentic re-sellers of vintage Chanel jewelry.
Vintage Five is a seller from Japan but they have an easy to navigate website, free shipping and also a boutique on Malleries. They also have this great page to help you distinguish between the fakes and the real thing. (My caveat: I have not ordered from here personally but just did some research on the web and they appeared to have good reviews and they do take returns)

Yoogi’s Closet, who I mentioned in my Where to Buy: Vintage Chanel Bags post, also has a small section of vintage jewelry. I love that they have the J12 watches as I’d never buy one at full retail but would definitely consider a pre-loved one.

Lastly, I got confirmation from the girls at the Purse Forum that Vineyard Vintage sells authentic pieces and they have quite an extensive selection so definitely check them out if you have a particular piece you are looking for. They also have a great page to help with authenticating pieces. Great to bookmark on your phone if you ever come across a vintage piece while antique shopping and you’re not sure of the authenticity.

What I’m Wearing
Chichwish Sweater – I also have the rose pattern in the same style. I’ve been wearing both a ton this winter, I love the big oversized shape and the fun patterns.
Oasap Blouse (sold out) – Same style at SheInside and similar except this one has a sequined collar!
Madewell Cords – looks like they are out of the black ones but the colored cords are on sale.
Prada Booties – nothing too similar but these cute B Brian Atwood booties are on sale.
Chanel bag – similar vintage here and love this style too.
t+j Designs Gold Chain Link Necklace, Pave Link Bracelet and Love ring (if you have small fingers our new Pave Love Ring comes in a size 4!)
I was supposed to be on my way to NYC today with my sister. We had some great plans, some fashion week shows, some business meetings, dinners with friends (and since my sister used to live in NYC and is a total foodie she had some great restaurants lined up for us!) but life got in the way and I’m now unable to go. So many sads for me today. But it’s okay, Jen is still on her way there so if you are in NYC this week, make sure to stop by her blog and let her know! I wish I was there to meet up with all the bloggers going this week, I’m sure you are all having a blast!

What I’m Wearing
ASOS Bonjour Sweater (now on sale) – I’m not one to wear words on my clothes usually but couldn’t resist this simple but cute sweater.
OASAP Sequin Collar Blouse – Thought it needed a bit of sparkle so added the blouse underneath but it created weird bunching all over. I love this sequin collar that you can just add to any shirt to get the same effect with no bunching! Actually any of these styles are so cute, I’m going to go to Nordstrom to check them out in person, I’ll let you know what I get!
Madewell Jeans – Check out their sale section, it’s an additional 30% off! I love their silk boyshirts and always stock up when they go on sale. And this super cute cardigan with heart elbow patches that I’ve been wanting since I first saw it (glad I waited for it to go on sale!)
Vintage Chanel bag – have you checked out Belle & Clive? It’s a new sample sale site that has mostly just high end designer stuff. They always have Proenza Schouler, Mulberry, Valentino, Prada, etc… sales and I’m always ready to pull the trigger on everything. The prices aren’t cheap but they are reasonable and a great way to get a designer bag for a discount. Anyway, they have vintage Chanel bags this week and they have my bag. Here’s my invite if you need it, they give you $10 to spend once you sign up!

Prada Booties – I like these that are more of a “shootie” since they are lower and don’t cut me off too high at the ankles which can make my legs look even shorter. These booties from are similar.
Yikes, it’s almost New Year’s Eve and my plans are still not finalized! I do this every year and we procrastinate on what we are going to do. But you know us girls, if I don’t finalize my plans, I can not finalize my outfit, so I need to make some decisions like now! Such problems right? LOL. Have a good weekend!

What I’m Wearing
Amanda Uprichard Dress – same print but strapless. I got this dress for a steal, like $50 or something. Amazon has amazing deals on clothes but you have to weed through a ton of stuff so I try to just search by brand. Amanda Uprichard makes beautiful silk pieces and I stalk Amazon for the best deals on her line. I’ve got my eye on this shirt. It’s 77% off! The one thing is prices vary by print and size so you just have to click through to check to see if you can get the good deal on the one that you want. I just ordered this fur vest
for $38!
BB Dakota Leather Lapel Blazer (now 30% off!) – I bought this blazer at the beginning of the summer and it’s been sitting in my closet since. So happy to pull it out for the fall. I love the chic addition of the leather lapels and the fit is perfect for someone like me with smaller shoulders. (I’m wearing the 0). I highly recommend this blazer if you are looking for a dressier blazer. The quality is great and it’s on sale and under $100 so totally worth it! If you are looking for a more basic but nice quality blazer, my favorite is the J Crew Schoolboy Blazer. I have it in navy and it’s definitely a staple that will be in my closet for years.
J Crew Belt – have you seen this adorable bow belt? It’s SO cute in person. I think a glitter belt would be a good addition to this dress too and easily make it into more of a party dress. And don’t forget, you can take 30% off all J Crew orders right now!
DKNY tights
YSL Platforms – the Tribute Sandal is the most similar to mine that are a few seasons old. I love the height these give me and the platform just makes them really comfortable to wear.
Vintage Chanel Bag – LOVE this mini vintage flap!
Double Wrap Chain Bracelet and Pave Link Bracelet – take 25% off your entire order with code GIFT25 and get our Gunmetal Crystal Bracelet set for free with orders over $30!
Still so much to do and Christmas is almost here! I’m having a great holiday season and I hope you all are too.

I’m definitely lucky in that I adore my in laws. I know a lot of people that don’t have the same situation so am very thankful that I have amazing in laws 🙂 We went to visit them a few weeks ago and my mother in law is a fabulous quilter so we were talking about a few things and we ended up going to the fabric store. While we were there, we found this adorable polka dot fabric that already had the elastic on top, I’m assuming for beginner (or lazy?) sewers that don’t want to deal with sewing the elastic on. I thought it was too cute and bought the fabric and my mother in law did her magic on the sewing machine and I had a very adorable skirt in under an hour! She actually added a bit of tulle to the bottom of it which made it even more adorable. I love it so much, thanks N!
