So in love with this little lace dress. Sorry for the photo overload but it was kind of the perfect location with this dress and I just LOVE cherry blossoms so we got so many pictures! So the deets on this dress, it looks way more expensive than it really is. It’s under $50! I absolutely adore it. Size up as it runs small, I typically wear an XS at that store but I’m wearing a size Small in this dress. The crochet/lace is so pretty and very delicate, it’s not cheap looking at all. I love the color of this dress and ended up getting quite a few other pieces in the same color. I just love this dress so much and highly recommend it if you are looking for a cute dress to wear to a spring or summer wedding! The back doesn’t have the lining like in the front so I highly recommend getting a self adhesive bra to wear with it. I actually have THIS ONE and I will be sharing a review of it soon! I highly recommend it!

Lookbook: 2 Penny Blue Stripes

Hi friends! Happy Monday! Sharing this look that I wore a few weeks ago. This jacket has made a permanent home in my “favorites” section of my closet!

A little review of the jacket: I’m wearing an XS and it fits perfectly. I have such a hard time
finding blazers that fit well in the shoulders but this one fits so
nicely. I have super short arms and I didn’t love where the sleeves ended on my arm so I rolled them up, which is something that I do to almost
all my jackets! The quality of the jacket is amazing. It is pricey but certainly worth it. You can tell they put a lot of love and care into all the details including how it came packaged in the mail. I also love that with every jacket purchased, they donate a school uniform to a girl in need in Africa. See more about why they do that here.

Lookbook: Floral Romper

Although rompers are a pain in the butt when it comes to using the restroom, I can’t help but love them for spring/summer as it’s such an easy outfit to put on and look cute.

I took these photos myself, which I haven’t done in ages. I usually have my husband or my assistant take my photos but it was such a nice day out and I wasn’t with either of them so I just grabbed my tripod and took these with my camera and remote. The photos are fine but the coloring turned out so weird! Anyway, that’s my excuse why these are so blown out and contrast-y. Taking your own photos is not an easy thing to do! I actually know quite a few fashion bloggers that shoot their own photos all the time so my props to them!

Hope everyone had a good weekend! If you got to take today off, hope you are relaxing and enjoying the day off. I’ve been traveling for the past month and am finally home for the next few weeks before I’m off again. I was so excited to get the weekend to enjoy my time with my husband and daughter. It’s so hard being away from my little one, so I’m soaking up all the hugs, kisses and play time with her.

Lookbook: Ostrich

Feathers! I never realized how much fun they make something but boy do I love this feather top!

I really love taking something that’s supposed to be night time only like feathers and sequins and making it wearable for day. Even though I fancied it up a little with the pencil skirt, I’ve been wearing this top with distressed jeans for a more casual vibe.

I hope you had a great weekend! We had such a good one, Layla had her first visit to the pumpkin patch, we took lots of pics and then stopped by the nearby farm to see the animals which she loved. I also got to celebrate my birthday with my family. (a little early celebration as my birthday is this week!) I love family time and am so grateful to have my parents and my brother nearby so that we can always get together and Layla gets spoiled by all the attention she gets from them!

Lookbook: Shorts + Blouses 3 ways

The summer is almost over and I’m looking back at my outfits pics. I think it’s safe to say that this summer I’ve really been loving the blouse + printed shorts combo. Here are three ways that I wore this combo!

Another thing that I’ve been loving is the high low blouse! I’ve accumulated quite a few this summer as you may have seen on my instagram here, here and here. I coordinated with the bright reds/pinks for the outfit but kept the accessories neutral here.

TOP SHORTS BAG (look for less) SHOES

Polka dots are always a win in my book! Love this blouse and a little bit of pattern on pattern mixing! And yes those shoes are on repeat. To say I love them is an understatement. Best shoes for the summer!

TOP SHORTS WEDGES SUNGLASSES

And a simple silk blouse paired with a dressier pair of shorts was an easy “office” look for me. My “office” these days is my favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. Even though I don’t go into a traditional office every day I still like to get dressed up and ready to tackle on everything that comes my way!
