Finally! Saks has their designer sale online. I’m trying to make the tough decisions as to what to actually buy. Luckily with the code HOLIDAY it’s free shipping and returns so I am getting a few things and seeing how they work out.
As you can expect, things are selling out fast but here are what I have my eye on.

I went shopping last week (when I went to look at the Designer Pre-Sale) so wanted to share some cute finds at Forever 21 and a little sweater haul!
I went to Forever 21 to find the Sanrio Collection but the one I went to must have sold out quick because there wasn’t much left. I thought this neon sweater was adorable. It would be a cute weekend wear sweater with some boyfriend jeans and booties. I passed since I already ordered a few pieces but still thought it was a cute shirt. I’m wearing the size Small here and fit is true to size.
I’ve been looking for a long cardigan as I love the longer length. I fell in love with this hot pink one and you know how I love to inject brights into my outfit so had to get it. And at under $16 it was a steal! The material is actually a nice thicker weight so will definitely keep you a lot warmer. The metallic sweater actually looks a lot more expensive than it really is. The material and weight of it is thick and the metallic is not too shiny. It’s a great sweater if you are looking to add a bit of sparkle without being over the top sparkly.

I’ll warn you though that it is a bit itchy so I’ve been having to wear something underneath. I got the Size 2 and it runs slightly big but looks great a little baggy. It’s very delicate and thin though so I’m totally afraid of getting snags in the sweater. Will avoid wearing big jewelry when wearing this.
I got all the sweaters in an XS and they all fit true to size. I love the giant bow and thought this was cute on but it’s a bit itchy so it’s on my “think about it” list.
Same with this heart sweater, a bit itchy but it’s very cute on and I could see myself wearing it a lot so will probably keep it. I’m always a fan of heart prints!

These all come in petite sizing which fits more true to size than their regular sizing which always tends to run big on me. Did you see Lauren Conrad’s latest collection for Kohl’s? I LOVE it! Every piece is so cute and perfect for the holidays. I spotted these over on her website and fell in love. Kohl’s has a coupon for extra 15% off with code HARVEST (ends Sunday) so I picked up a few things. I have a few LC Lauren Conrad pieces that I got a while ago (you may also remember I did a video with Kohl’s which was when I was introduced to the line.) and I have to say the quality is fantastic for the price. Also, the LC line runs more true to size than some of their other lines which I like as I find that almost every thing else at Kohl’s runs a little larger.
You may already know that Nordstrom’s Half Yearly Sale is going on right now, which also means that the Designer shoe sale is coming soon! I’m a bootie lover. I mean I live in Seattle, I need all the boots I can get to get me through the next 9 months of rain and more rain. I tend to like booties rather than tall boots as I find that they are more versatile. And I also have a harder time finding tall boots to fit my legs but booties are much easier to find. Loving the platform of the Alejandro Igelmo and the B Brian Atwood booties. The lower cut on the ankle tends to look better on me since I have short legs so I tend to go for these. Although the Jean – Michael Cazabat booties are a bit taller, I love the zipper and cap toe details. They also come in tweed which is gorgeous.
My first love will always be pumps. In the past few years have accumulated quite the collection of round toe pumps but am now loving the pointy toes. I adore the shape of the Alice + Olivia pumps, now to decide which ones to get, the glitter or the snakeskin? I love them both! Am also wanting more printed shoes and how darling are the Kate Spade polka dots? (They also come in black and white!) The Tory Burch leopard pumps would go with practically any of my fall outfits.
Also wanted to mention that my B Brian Atwood pumps that I got in the summer are available in a few differentcolors. I love these and may take advantage of the 20% off right now and get them in the glitter version. Also, if I was getting married again, I would totally wear the rhinestone covered ones, aren’t they so pretty!

I just came back from a week in Chicago and I had such a great time. My sister and I have not lived in the same city for over a decade so getting to spend time with her is always a lot of fun. Now that she has Grant and we have our business, we have lots of excuses to see each other more often and I’m sure I will be making many more trips out there this year!
We spent a day shopping and I found tons of cute stuff at Nordstrom so just wanted to share my sale finds. My favorite department at Nordstrom (besides shoes, of course) is Via C. I’m not one to spend a lot of money on clothes as I usually reserve my money for shoes and handbags but I do love the quality and fit of designer clothing so I only buy when there is a sale.

The red dress was super cute but I wasn’t sure if I would wear it a lot. The SA actually picked it out for me. I don’t think I would’ve pulled it off the rack but I liked it on. I love the gradient jeans so much. They are much cuter in person and very very hot pink! I’m always happy to find a trench that fits me properly as it rarely
happens. Since I live in Seattle, trench coats are practically a year
round staple so I know I will get lots of use out of it.

I’ve always loved A.P.C. but haven’t bought anything because it’s still a bit pricey for me. Loved the leopard top and unexpectedly, that jean skirt which the SA picked out for me. That blazer is a small but it fits tiny so if you have small shoulders, that’s a great blazer to get. It’s linen so perfect for summer.
The little ombre dress was cute in person and it’s a really nice silk material. I’m a little iffy on spending $200 on a little dress like that but I really liked it. Hoping I might be able to track it down at Nordstrom Rack later at a cheaper price. (Slim chance but I like to be optimistic!). The leopard dress is adorable but it needed a few alterations (mainly hemming it up as it was cutting off my already short legs) so I didn’t get it, but for someone that is not a huge fan of leopard, I really liked this leopard print.
