I am an avid Amazon shopper and with the holidays quickly approaching I have been shopping through Amazon even more than ever. They have a special Fashion Day of Deals TODAY ONLY so I wanted to round up some of the best sales and my top picks from each!
I shop Amazon year round, but when it comes to Black Friday shopping they really have some of the best deals! It’s the perfect time to shop for gifts or even just for yourself and really save. Amazon does “deals of the day” all week leading up to Black Friday (if you didn’t know this – make note for next year!) so I wanted to share the major deals happening today for Black Friday on Amazon and a few of my picks for each!

This time of year there are SO many good sales for Black Friday and it seems like the deals start earlier and earlier each year. Nordstrom has a huge sale with a ton of new markdowns and some amazing styles up to 60% off right now, so I thought I’d share a round up of my top picks and what to buy!
First, I had to share this sweater that I just got. It’s so comfortable and the color is perfect for these gray days we are having when I just need a pick me up! Also it’s 50% off! Grab it now as all sizes are in stock and it comes in a few colors! I’m wearing an XS. It runs a bit big and you can even wear it off of one shoulder.
I spotted my favorite Teddy Bear jacket on sale and I was surprised as it was completely sold out at the Anniversary Sale! Pick it up now in all sizes and two colors. It’s one of my favorite jackets, it’s been getting so cold here so I’ve been wearing it almost every day!

Cable knit Sweaters
A cable knit sweater is a great piece to have for fall through winter. I’ve been wearing mine with jeans and a tee like below or I toss it over a dress and sneakers for an updated casual look.
Our weather is still fairly nice with a few days of rain sprinkled in. I’m not fully committed to socks and boots just yet so am still wearing shoes that can work with this transitional weather.
Mules are the perfect shoe to wear right now before the rain starts, plus I’m 9 months pregnant and not able to bend down to tie or buckle my shoes so these are the best for my fellow pregnant ladies as well!
And I do still love my wedges since I can’t wear heels for extended periods of time. The best part about a lot of these is that they are on sale now so I can get a good deal on them and wear them for next spring/summer.
I’m obsessed with bows (can you tell?) so was excited to find these bow wedges on sale. I’m sure I’ll wear them a ton next summer too! The pink mules are from Nordstrom but they are 60% off right now! They are extremely comfy!
Athleisure trend is still going strong and I love that there are so many options now that look great in and out of the gym. I’m all about patterns and details like the mesh panels on leggings and then pairing them with on trend sneakers that also come in a variety of colors and prints.
Ankle booties need to be on your fall wardrobe list because they literally go with everything! I’m a fan of the neutral tones because I find it looks great with dark denim, white jeans, even with dresses!
My jacket is from Bodaskins and I LOVE it. Investing in a leather jacket is great as it’s a piece that you’ll end up wearing year and year. Leather tends to get better the more you wear it! But I also understand the need for faux leather and more inexpensive options. Here are some picks that are affordable.
So many good sales this weekend and even though a lot of summer styles are on sale, you can still find a lot of great deals for fall items. I’m definitely preparing for my bump to get even larger for my final two months so I tried to find some good stretchy pieces that I could wear but also pieces that I would feel comfortable in post partum.

I’m a fan of cozy cardigans so I couldn’t resist this one. It’s the perfect shade of pink! This is a size XS which you can see does run a bit big so I’d stay true to size or size down depending on how relaxed you’d like it to be.
This bow back sweater is adorable but can we also talk about these faux leather leggings? They are AMAZING! And I will say that the elastic waistband is nice it even fit over my baby bump! I’m wearing a size S in both the sweater and leggings. I would say they both run true to size as I sized up to accommodate my belly.
I love Utility Jackets for fall. You can toss them over any outfit (even a cute dress) and it just works! This one is the perfect color and the material is really nice and soft!
As I walked through the mall it seemed like everyone was doing 40% off! I was glad to see that J Crew was doing the same as I often wait for sales there so I was happy to see that it applied to everything, even new arrivals!
This star sweater is so cute, I always love J Crew for their basics and love that they added this cute pattern to this sweater. The jeans I’m wearing are non-maternity (thank goodness for my belly band!). They are the toothpick jeans which is one of my favorite styles. It’s always great to stock up on jeans especially at 40% off!
I wanted to try on more things but was short on time. I found this cute stretchy dress on sale. Not the most flattering photo of it but it is really cute on and I plan on wearing it with a cardigan over it for fall. It was such a good price + 40% off so it was a no brainer as I knew that I would wear it a ton for the remainder of my pregnancy. I just noticed that it’s actually an additional 50% off online!
This cute dress that I’ve been living in is on sale in a few colors! Even though it’s already super affordable it’s now only $30! I already own it in two colors but may have to buy more! This dress is also really similar but I love that it’s got short sleeves and is also on sale.

We are in the last week of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale before prices go up! I finally got all my orders in and sorted out all the good stuff vs all the stuff I wanted to return. Here are some of my favorite pieces that I noticed are in stock or popped back up in stock!
BEST SELLING ITEMS STILL IN STOCK
This cardigan is so soft and comfy and will be my go-to this fall. I love it! Almost all colors are sold out, but last check I saw that they had one color in stock in all sizes!
This lightweight suede jacket is so cute and looks great with jeans or a dress. You can literally toss it over anything and you’ll look cute! For less than $60, it’s a must have!
The other booties shown above are these ankle booties that are also really cute and comfy. They look similar to the tan ones I’m wearing but the ankle and heel height are much lower.
This cozy teddy bear coat was sold out for the longest time but I’ve been noticing some sizes come back to stock so keep checking the site if you love it to see if your size pops back up!
I love white sweaters during the fall and winter and this one went out of stock pretty fast but I saw that it’s back in a size XXS. Which if you are regularly an XS, it might still work for you as the sweater itself is quite baggy.
BEST BABY AND MATERNITY ITEMS | NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE 2018
For all you pregnant mamas, there are a few great things that you’ll want to get too. I jut got this Maternity/Nursing Tank that is so comfy and fits great. I had several of these when I was nursing my first daughter so I wanted to get some new ones and love that these are on sale. I also picked up this nursing bra as these are an essential!
As for baby gear, I picked up the Maxi Cosi Infant car seat. This rarely goes on sale so it’s the best time to get it! We love Maxi Cosi car seats and this one is one of the more lightweight infant car seats which is so important to me.
If you can believe it, I just placed another order as I noticed a few more items that I had wanted. I always tend to over order and just return what doesn’t work. That way I don’t regret on missing out on the sale prices!

NOTES ON SIZING:
I’m 6 months pregnant here but I’m wearing all of my regular sizing to share with you how everything fits. I’m wearing a belly band over my jeans so you’ll see that below but other than that, nothing is maternity. I’m 5’2″, size 0/XS and I usually stick true to size for most of the brands at Nordstrom. Almost everything I’m wearing below is a size XS or 25 in jeans. If not, I noted it in the descriptions below.
SUMMER TO FALL OUTFITS
As it starts to cool down but it’s not quite fall, one of my favorite combinations is a sweater and shorts. Sweet and simple! This sweater is only $30, comes in 3 colors and fits true to size.
I love a cute ruffle top! This is a thicker knit so it can be more dressy and great for the office. Comes in 5 colors in both regular and petite sizing.
Toss a long cardigan over and comfy ankle booties for a cute mommy appropriate outfit! I will be running around with my daughter in most outfits like this!
Just a note that I ordered a ton of boots but they’ve yet to arrive so I’m using boots that I got at Nordstrom last year and linking to the very similar styles on sale this year.
COZY SWEATERS FOR FALL AND WINTER
My favorite thing in the world during the winter is a long cozy sweater. Love the fit of this and the roll neck style. It’s also super soft! I’m wearing a size Small here and it fits great over the bump but I wanted to check the XS so that’s on the way to me too. I would stay true to size with this sweater.
This little peplum sweater is also a great one to wear to transition from summer to fall. It’s a soft, thin knit and it does run a bit big as even with my belly I have plenty of room.
I love to pair thin soft knits with cardigans so you don’t have to deal with the bulk. Being petite I find that adding bulk can make me look even shorter. Now that I’m pregnant, I definitely do need any more bulk! This ribbed cardigan is perfect for fall and comes in 5 colors.
When I saw this jacket in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale catalog, I knew I had to have it. I was pleasantly surprised how much more I loved it in person! I wasn’t able to grab it in my size, I’m wearing a M but I don’t mind that it’s a bit more baggy so I can wear more layers underneath.
Unfortunately this jacket sold out super fast and I’m not sure they are restocking it, but the pullover style is still available and really cute on!
I always have a few bright colored sweaters to get me through fall and winter and of course the Anniversary Sale did not disappoint! This is a fave and love the bright colors it comes in.
Had to share this jacket again and how versatile it is. It’s definitely going to be a fave this winter and I’m on a hunt for similar styles to share with you guys!
I usually buy a few cashmere pieces during the sale but this is the only style I ended up getting this year. The buttons on the sleeve make it so cute and I love the pretty pink color.
One last cardigan but this one is at the top of my list! I love the lavender color and the cable knit. It’s not super cute online so I’m glad I spotted it while I was in store.
