My favorite tops and jeans on sale + Marc Fisher Wedges Look for Less!

I raved about these shoes so much. (See my posts HERE and HERE) but guess what? I ended up finding the exact pair of shoes for $100 LESS! They are only $60 and they are amazing! Get them HERE in two colors.

AFFORDABLE (TOP) VS ORIGINAL (BOTTOM)

The top pair are the more affordable version but honestly, in person they look so similar to the Marc Fisher ones. If they weren’t right next to each other you wouldn’t even know the difference. The jute on the wedges is almost exactly the same. They both are really comfy on. The one thing that I actually liked better about the more affordable version is that the toe box has the leather lining which makes it a bit more comfortable. It’s not a huge difference but something that I did notice. I highly recommend them especially if you are like me and already have one pair and are thinking about getting a 2nd pair. You should definitely grab these and save $100 from the original price!

As I was shopping for those wedges I also found THESE and THESE wedges that I absolutely love! Sometimes it takes a bit to browse on Amazon for certain items but I do end up finding some good gems at great prices. Also, returns are so easy which I appreciate so I do sometimes over order on things but I just can’t help it with the two day shipping and free returns, it just makes my life so much easier!

I just got this top at Nordstrom and it’s super darling. I spotted it on Shopbop too so had to tell you to grab it now for 20% off because it’s not on sale anywhere else! It’s only available in blue there but it’s still so cute.

My favorite jeans these days are Frame. You’ve seen these on me a ton, I wear them so much I have them in both black and white.

Nordstrom Winter Sale Faves and What I Bought

If you guys haven’t checked out the Nordstrom Winter sale just yet, you gotta go! It’s my favorite sale, mostly because I love fall and winter clothes and can always find such good pieces this time of the year. I bought quite a few pieces earlier this season and a ton are now on sale. I had to share some of the stuff that I’ve already worn a ton this winter that’s now on sale for great prices.

These MOTO LEGGINGS are great to wear both with booties and over the knee boots. I love wearing them with long tunic or cozy sweaters. They come in 3 colors and they fit true to size.

took me a really long time to find a good no show sock to wear with
these and I finally found THESE that work amazing! They stay on your feet and really are “no show”.

Comes in 4 colors and regular and petite sizing! I usually get the petite sizing in this brand and it runs true to size.

January Sales! Tops, Jackets and Jeans

Love browsing January sales as I know that the weather in Seattle is still going to stay cold for awhile so I definitely get use out of all the winter sales going on right now! Had to check out the J Crew sale and try on a few fun pieces…

I’ve seen this top on a few other bloggers and thought it was adorable. The stripes and the ruffles are really flattering on everyone!

They don’t have the bow top online anymore but I found it in this other plaid print which I think is even cuter! Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale Shopping and Haul

I went to Nordstrom to scope out the Half Yearly Sale and to be honest, I found more non-sale items than I did sale items. But I did some shopping online and found some great things that are on their way to me. I don’t know why but I tend to shop their sales better online than I do in store. But more on that later, first here are all the great pieces that I fell in love with!

This top was one of my faves and it is on sale for 40% off! Love the fit and the details.

LACE INSET TOP

The cutest lace tank! I’m always a sucker for details like this and it would be so cute under a blazer or a cardigan. Oh and I should also mention that the booties I’m wearing throughout this post are on sale too! I wear them all the time. So comfy and they go with everything.

LACE PANEL TANK

I love this sweater, not the best photos but it’s super cute in person. I like how you can play with the V and either fold it in or just leave it flat. It comes in white too.

DEEP V-NECK SWEATER

I have this love/hate with cold shoulder tops. I think they are kind of ridiculous to leave your shoulders out but I also can’t help but love them. LOL! Of course I can never resist a cute striped sweater so had to get this one.

COLD SHOULDER SWEATER

This lace top is super cute, but I don’t have this styled right. If I had on the right pants and shoes it would be a lot better! I’m wearing the XS which I think runs a bit big. I saw online they have XXS so I may try that out and see if it fits better. I do love the style!

The white top has the cutest ruffle back! (see the photo below) I love that it’s a bit plain in front but so fun in the back. And I love this bell sleeve sweater on the right. The material is a very thick, almost shiny feel. It has a tie back, which makes it a bit fun too.

Just a simple velvet top but totally cute! I hesitate shopping in the junior’s section as I never know about sizing, but I’m wearing an XS in this and it fits true to size.

I’m not much of a shorts/tanks – summer wear kind of girl. I have a few favorite pieces that I tend to wear every summer and don’t do much shopping. However, when I do, it’s usually when all the summer stuff is on sale so wanted to share a few recent purhcases and picks that are all on sale.

LOFT is kind of funny whenever I stop by the store, they always are doing something different online. The day I stopped by they were doing 40% off everything in the store but they weren’t doing it online. Either way though, most of the time you can still grab a pretty good discount at LOFT as long as you keep an eye out for it.

This top isn’t super summery but I like that it’s a dressy take on just a regular tee. Love the peplum detail and dresses up your regular jeans and a tee kind of outfit.

PEPLUM TEE (wearing XS)

I think drop waist dresses like this one is flattering on every body type. Love the gingham print, so summery! Just an easy dress to wear for so many summer occasions. I’ve already worn it to the office, a bar-b-que and a trip to the zoo with my daughter. I just read the reviews about how bad it shrunk after wash for quite a few people so I need to make sure not to do the same! I may just end up handwashing it.

GINGHAM DRESS (wearing Petite XS)

I didn’t take pics but also tried on these tops which are just good
summer staples. I’m all about the easy, breezy summer tops. Am totally
obsessed with the lace top which I can wear now but will be perfect for fall too. The tweed shorts are just too cute and I actually already own scallop shorts but I like that these ones are a bit dressier than mine. And being that I love all things off the shoulder lately, this dress was calling my name.

Also a quick note as J Crew is having a great sale on sale. I snagged this striped tee and I love the linen tees as they look a bit nicer than regular cotton tees. I packed this in my suitcase and it actually didn’t wrinkle much which is nice, since I’ve been living out of a suitcase lately I feel like all my clothes are super wrinkly these days!

The striped pom pom tee is too cute and you can’t tell in the picture but this tee is a really pretty silver metallic in person. Also grabbed a few other tanks that I thought would be cute with jeans and shorts. How cute is that scalloped tank though? The little gold bag was a last minute buy but on sale and additional 40% off, I just had to have it. I’ve been loving bucket bags and just couldn’t resist the gold and the tassels!

I had to mention one last thing as I saw these pink lace up flats and am DYING for them but I can’t find them in my size anywhere. How cute are they! And they are on sale too!

I’ve been out of town for most of July – if you follow along on Instagram you may know that I’m spending most of my time out in Silicon Valley as part of the 500 startups accelerator program. I promise to write more about that whole experience later but first things first, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale! I’m sure most of you know about it, if you haven’t already shopped it. Funny enough, I usually am an online shopper so you would’ve thought I bought everything online but because of work and being in 500 Startups, it’s just been too crazy for me to even browse online so I actually went in store this weekend. It’s been a little hard on me as I spend M-F without seeing my husband and daughter so try to maximize the weekends with them when I’m back home. They both came along on my little shopping trip and they were super patient and sweet to me as I tried everything on.

So a quick recap of what I brought home with me. If you aren’t a Nordstrom cardholder you’ll have to wait until July 22nd to grab these so I’d suggest bookmarking anything you have your eye on! But if you are a cardholder – go get them now!

I LOVE faux leather leggings for the fall. I wore mine so much last year that the knees are totally worn in. So I was planning on buying another pair this year and happy to find these in the sale! I will say that they fit a bit loose for leather leggings but I didn’t want them to be too tight so I went with my regular size of XS however if you want them to be more fitted, I would suggest to size down.

If there is one thing that I have a lot of in my closet besides jeans it’s bow blouses. I just can’t resist them. I loved the color of this one and the bow sits really nicely on. Some of my bow blouses, the bow looks weird no matter how I tie it so I like the look of the ribbon bow, it’s simpler and doesn’t matter if it’s perfectly tied or not. I came home and ended up ordering it in the ivory too! The fit is a bit looser than I normally like so I may not end up tucking it in, but plan on wearing it a bit more casual like with the leather leggings so I think it works not tucked in.

Polka dot cardigan – I mean, how can I not? I liked the length of this one, I really don’t like the cardigans that hit just at the waist as those make me look even more short waisted. I love the gray with the black dots, I tend to wear cardigans a ton in the fall and I think this will go with everything!

And lastly this super cute blush colored blouse with bell sleeves. I love wearing statement necklaces and for work my go-to look is a simple blouse with a pretty statement necklace. Such a cute simple blouse that is perfect for work or going out. I find that this brand runs slightly big. I took an XS in this but if you can, I would suggest to size down.

I felt like I got a good amount of stuff but for some reason didn’t see any cute jeans while I was there and ended up looking online and ordering these. I didn’t have a chance to stop by the shoes but got these ankle booties online as well and looking forward to seeing how they look in person.

And if you have a little girl too, I have to mention they have some great sales for kid’s shoes right now! Stocked up on these cute UGG boots for my daughter. They are a lot cuter in person, they are scalloped with little eyelets at the top. as well as these fun floral pair. I love dressing my little as much as dressing myself and can’t wait to pair them with a little dress like they styled this little girl, so cute!
