J Crew Sale haul!

I walked into J Crew this weekend and was pleasantly surprised to see they were doing 20% off all sale and on top of that 25% off your entire purchase!  Found some good stuff so wanted to share as I saw that they are offering the 25% off online now (however not the extra off of sale so you might want to check your stores!)

I love the boyfriend sweater and got them in both these colors.  Perfect for the winter and easy to wear with everything!  I got them in store for $23.99 each!  I’m wearing size XXS.

How could I not love the stripe necklace tee?  It’s so cute and just love the jewels at the neckline.  I’m wearing an XS here.  It’s pretty fitted and not much stretch so not like their regular tees.  I got this top in both the colors they have.

I’ve been looking for a cute vest and this striped one fit the bill.  This isn’t on sale in store but just saw that it’s $10 off online.  I’m wearing the XS here but I ended up getting the XXS as I liked the fit better.

If you are wondering the jeans I’m wearing here are old but they are J Crew too and they still have them here (and on sale!)

On my way out I spotted the Tilda Rhinestone top and the Ruffled Rhinestone Top on sale as well.  I didn’t end up getting them but they are super cute so thinking about going back to get them!

Sorry for my crappy photos but here’s what they look like on the models.  They were both marked down to $79.99 in store.

My favorite thing that I got was this leather front cardigan.  It’s gorgeous on!  I first spotted it on Chloe and loved it on her.  It’s a bit pricey but considering that it’s leather and with the 25% off, it was pretty reasonable.  I wear cardigans pretty much all the time throughout the fall and winter so I think this will definitely get lots of wears!

Charles Phillip Smoking Slippers

OK so I had to share my latest obsession with you all.  I was shopping around for new flats a few months ago and came across these very cute smoking slippers from Charles Phillip.  When I got them, I swear I wore them for a week straight!  They are the comfiest things ever and so I went out and got 2 more pairs!  I was just checking for new styles last night and loved all the new prints and patterns.  My pink pair are still available here on sale, the other two have sold out.

Some of my favorite of the new patterns…

Camo | Chevron | Leopard

And their new tassel loafers are just as cute!

Flannel
Tweed
Gold

Seriously with the price point being under $200 they are some of the best flats that I’ve owned and I think I’m going to keep on collecting them!

Sandals + Nail Polish Pairings

One of the best things about summer: sandals + cute pedis. Once winter’s here, your toes go into hiding, so I’ve been taking advantage of the opportunity to show off my dressed-up toes (even though I can no longer paint them myself – thank you gigantic pregnant belly!).  Love these nail polish and sandal pairings:

1. Schutz Baldonera + Essie Full Steam Ahead
Love the edgy studs with the bright yellow color. The peep-toe gives you just enough room to show off this lovely pastel purple.

2. Kate Spade ‘Intro” Sandal + Butter London Trout Pout
Such a great neutral sandal – pair it with this cute cantaloupe color to brighten up your toes! I’d wear this with all my LWDs!

3. Zara Leather Mini Wedge + Nars Arabesque
This black sandal is super versatile – it can be tough and edgy or sleek & sexy. I’d pair this with this glittery pink polish to make it a bit girlier.

4. Tory Burch Kailey Sandals + Sephora Hot & Spicy
The bows on these sandals are irresistible. Pair this with a bright orange color for a fun look.

5. Joie Jaclyn Ankle Strap Sandals + Deborah Lippman Mermaid’s Dream
This is a gorgeous berry color and would transition well into fall. Love pairing this luxurious color, with this metallic seafoam polish for a cool look.

6. Dolce Vita Delmy + Dolce & Gabanna Peachy Nude
Such a fun color! Since the color’s so bright, I’d complement it with this pretty peachy nude color.

7. Asos Fall Back Sandal + Essie Peach Daiquiri
Complement these cute turquoise sandals with this neon fruit punch color. Pair it with your summer dresses and you’re good to go.

8. Zara High Heel Shiny Shoe + L’Oreal Crazy for Chic Remember when oxblood was THE color? This is a similar hue, and would look great on all your date nights.

9. J Crew Allie Gladiator Sandals + Essie Turquoise & Caicos
The perfect gladiator sandal that will go with everything! Pairing it with one of my favorite colors – mint!

10. Saint Laurent Tribute Sandal + NARS Schiap
Perfect neutral sandal for all your summer outfits. Amp it up with this gorgeous pink shade from Julep.

MyHabit

I’m an Amazon addict, I stopped going to Target once I joined Amazon Prime (free 2 day shipping!) and just buy almost all my household stuff from there.  It’s just so convenient and I don’t waste money buying all the extra crap that I would when I go to Target.  I don’t know why it took me so long but I just starting shopping on their daily deal site, MyHabit and am now hooked!

I saw they were having a sale on the Foley + Corinna Mid City Totes which I’m a big fan of.  They just hold everything, are really versatile and I love that you can hold it like a clutch, a tote or crossbody.  I’ve had mine for over 5 years now and I still use it a lot.  It’s originally $395 and they have it for $166 which is an awesome deal!  I’m trying to decide between this pretty blush color or the light neutral bag, both of which I don’t have any bags in these colors but I think they are great neutrals to add to my late summer and fall outfits.

They’re also currently having a sale on Vintage Chanel jewelry!  I love love vintage Chanel and wish I could add more to my collection.

This one is sold out but isn’t it gorgeous?

Anyway, just had to share since I know you all love shopping (and good deals) as much as I do!   You can sign up to shop below, just click through and enter your email address!

Beat the Heat!

The weather is definitely heating up, and sometimes it’s hard to stay cute when all you want to do is jump in a pool! I’m grateful we’re not experiencing any heat waves in Seattle, but I do know what it feels like to be in humid weather! I’ve found that the best way to dress for the heat, is to throw on easy one-piece outfits. Whether that’s a dress, romper, or jumpsuit – you’ll still look cute, but with minimal effort!

Topshop Daisy Lace Tunic Dress You know I’m a fan of both lace and neon. I also like how the model paired it with a cute blue sandal!

Banana Republic Drawstring Halter Dress
Perfect little dress in a bright color. You could throw this on with sandals and simple accessories, and you’re good to go.
Club Monaco Lonlee Dress
Gorgeous print! This dress has lots of little details, like the pockets and the collar that make it a great find.
Forever 21 Pineapple Print Romper Such a cute fun print for the summer!

Pixie Market Blue Crush Denim Dress
How cute is this little denim dress? Love the ruffle effect on the
sleeves. It’s also a great dress to accessorize and make your own!
Asos Off Shoulder Summer Dress
Showing a little shoulder is so sexy. Such a fun and flirty dress!
Asos Skater Dress in Graphic Bird
Such an easy silhouette, with a great pattern.  I love the bird print, I actually own three tops with the same print! Throw this on with heels, sandals, or boots to easily dress it up or down.
Forever 21 Floral Chambray Romper
Looks super comfortable. Love the cut-out in the back and the pockets!

Anthropologie Market Day Stripes Maxi
Loving maxis for summer. They’re so versatile and easy, with some drama. All three colors are great!
Anthropologie Colorblocked Shift
Neutral dresses are a closet staple, and this color-blocked version is super pretty. Also a work-appropriate dress!

ASOS Maternity Review

ASOS Maternity Skater Dress | Miu Miu Flats | t+j Designs Champagne Pendant Necklace
I haven’t bought much maternity clothes during my pregnancy, I actually haven’t bought much clothes, period.  My bump didn’t really pop until about 29 weeks (I know this because that week was the one where all my friends would exclaim, “oh you definitely look pregnant now!”) and so I just worked with my regular wardrobe but with my much loved BellaBands
or just lived in stretchy knit dresses.  Now that I’m significantly bigger, it’s much harder to work with my pre-pregnancy wardrobe so am buying a few more maternity items to get me through my last month.
ASOS’ maternity line caught my eye as they have a ton of cute styles and so I ordered this polka dot dress, this floral skater dress and this dotted blouse with bow back.  The polka dot dress was cute but fit too big so it gave me the affect of being bigger than I am which I already don’t need, the dotted blouse was much too tight in the bust which I’ve been struggling with in lots of tops as my bust is out of control these days.  And lastly, the floral dress was juuuuust right!!  (Oh and size wise, I took the size 2 in everything that I ordered.)  The elastic waist fits comfortably above the bump and I love that it has short sleeves as I rarely find short sleeve dresses that I like.  The dress does end a little longer than I typically like (right below my knees whereas I like above my knees) but everything else, the print, the colors and the fit I love.
I haven’t had a chance to take lookbook pictures in it yet even though I’ve worn it already but thought I’d put together this little outfit to show you how I will be wearing it next!
I have found though that for petite ladies like me, the ASOS petite line also has some great flowy and stretchy dresses that really work with baby bumps and that fit a bit better than the maternity dresses which I feel are made for ladies that are taller than me.  I highly recommend to stick with stretchy knits and nothing with buttons and zippers.
Here are a few more styles that I’m loving and that I think will work great for the rest of my pregnancy.
