We recently went on our first family getaway since 2019! With the pandemic and having two little ones, we wanted to be on the safe side and stay home, but with vaccines available now my husband and I are feeling a bit more comfortable with taking our family out on a fun little adventure! I’m proud to be partnering on this post with Washington State Department of Health to help spread the word about the COVID-19 vaccine. All thoughts and opinions are my own. My husband and I have both been fully vaccinated since this spring and we recently also got the COVID-19 booster once we were eligible. It was important to us that we got the booster before our vacation. I’m also so happy that the COVID-19 vaccine is available for kids 5 and over now. Layla’s school district has done an amazing job at setting up vaccination clinics for the kids that made it so easy for us parents to make appointments and make sure that our kids can get vaccinated. We headed to Great Wolf Lodge which is one of our favorite destinations. The last time we were there, Edie was still a baby! This time she’s […]

We are all so excited for the holidays, but at the same time it’s can be so busy and a bit stressful! I am all about the little things that make my life a bit easier and that includes shopping online, getting free shipping and getting all the best deals. And I’m excited to let you know that you can get all of that with a Walmart+ membership! I’ve mentioned my love of Walmart+ before, as it’s something that I use on a weekly basis. With a Walmart+ memebership you get free shipping, no order minimum on your online orders*. You can order your groceries and get them the same day (free delivery!) and get member prices on fuel! Another awesome benefit of Walmart+ is that you now have early access to all the online Black Friday deals! You get to shop 4 hours before everyone else for all the Black Friday events online! Although I always advise to get a head start on all your holiday shopping, this year is especially important with all the supply chain issues and shipping delays. Right now is the time […]

This post in in partnership with Google Kids Space. All opinions are my own. My daughter is in 2nd grade and she loves to read, write and draw and I love finding things that help her grow in those areas. I was recently introduced to Google Kids Space* which is a kids mode on select Android tablets with content to help your child discover, create, and grow. It is designed to spark your kid’s curiosity and creativity, inspiring them to explore their interests through a library of quality content with apps, games, books, and videos. I have been wanting to get Layla her own tablet as it’s nice for her to have something just for her and I love that all the content in Google Kids Space is geared towards her and her own interests. When we first set up the experience she was so excited to be able to choose her own interests (she chose animals, princesses, arts & crafts, and music) and then she even got to create her own special character! With over 1,000 inclusive customization choices, from skin color to hair styles and accessories to prosthetics, they can create a unique character that represents them (and […]

I grew up and have lived all over the Seattle area. From the Eastside to downtown Seattle, West Seattle and North Seattle and with my extended family in South Seattle, I am very familiar with restaurants all over the greater Seattle area! My family and I love food and we love finding small restaurants in every neighborhood to enjoy. With the pandemic, supporting small restaurants and small businesses is more important than ever and I have tried to do my best by ordering take out directly from them or purchasing gift cards to some of our regular restaurants. Now that WA state has opened back up and restaurants are able to run at full capacity again it’s been fun to go out and eat at the restaurants as well! I’ve really enjoyed all the new outdoor seating that a lot of restaurants have been able to add and appreciate that they have been taking the safety of their employees and customers seriously. This post is sponsored by WA Dept of Health. All opinions are my own. Thank you for your support! Even though I am young and healthy, I got vaccinated as soon as I could as I wanted to […]
