One of my favorite events of the year is almost here! The Nordstrom Anniversary sale officially starts on July 28th but if you are a Nordstrom card member, you get early access to all the deals. There are different days that card members get access to which I will outline later on but if you are here to find all the best deals to add to your wishlist before the sale starts, you are in the right place!
What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is unlike any sale! Instead of putting things on sale that are at the end of the season, they introduce all brand new items but all at a special sale price! The sale only lasts a few weeks where you can snag the deals but after that, everything goes back to regular prices.
Who can shop the Anniversary Sale?
Anyone! It’s not limited to a special group however, they do like to reward their Nordstrom cardmembers with early access. And within the card holders, each status gets to shop at a different time. Here’s an easy look at when you are able to shop depending on your cardholder status.
If you are not a Nordstrom Cardholder, don’t worry! If you sign up here and get approved, you’ll be placed in the “Influencers” status and can shop on July 16th! You’ll even get a $60 bonus note when you sign up!
How do I know what status I am?
If you are a Nordstrom Cardholder, go ahead and login to your account and it will let you know your status and when you will be able to shop.

Where can I preview what’s going to be on sale?
Even if you can’t shop yet, you can see what will be available during the sale! Browse the preview and start saving items to your wishlist so that when the sale is open to your cardholder status level, you will be prepped and ready to add to cart and buy!
Can I preview the items in my local Nordstrom store?
Yes! At the Nordstrom stores around me, they will section off a special area in each department where you’ll be able to browse the pieces.
In some areas, I’ve heard that they will check your card status before you allowed into the area, however I noticed that in my area, they let anyone browse but they couldn’t buy unitl they checked their cardholder status. So it may be different for each store. The best way to know is to call ahead and ask if you’ll be allowed to browse the Anniversary Sale pieces even if it’s before the date for your cardholder status.
What to buy from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021
Each year, I always recommend making sure to snag sweaters, jeans, leggings and booties from the sale, and this year is no different! A lot of fab finds to get and these will be the best prices to get for the season!

I always make sure to shop for items to build an easy fall wardrobe. This includes cardigans, sweaters, tops and leggings that I can mix and match. I also always get a new pair of pajamas each year!

Don’t miss all the beauty deals as well! This is the time where I stock up on my favorite perfume, lotions and skincare tools. It’s pretty much the only time of the year that you can get sale prices on many of these items!
