Lookbook: Fabulousity

I have shoes that are “no fail” every time I wear them I will get a compliment and these are one of them.  I was out at lunch with a friend and while we were talking this lady interrupts us just to tell me how much she loves my shoes!  Love those moments!  It’s funny though because these yellow Loubies always get the compliments from women and when I wear my gray Louboutin Biancas I always get stopped by men.  It seriously happens every single time.  Too funny!  I like wearing them when the rest of my outfit is kind of boring so it focuses the attention onto them.  If I had just been wearing black pumps this outfit would have just been “meh” but the yellow brings in some fabulousity don’t you think? (click on the link, I love the Urban Dictionary definition of it – unbearable extreme LOL!)

I know we’re in the middle of winter and all but when shadesdaddy.com offered to send me a pair of sunglasses I couldn’t resist as I’m addicted to sunnies!  I adore Chloe sunglasses but don’t yet own a pair so I picked out these Chloe Tilias and they promptly shipped them to me in the pretty Chloe case.  I am SO in love with these and the slight cat eye shape!  I usually wear big, round sunnies so these are a bit different but I’m glad that I picked them out as they fit to my face perfectly.  I have a very flat bridge on my nose so finding sunglasses that actually fit are near to impossible so I’m so happy that these ones actually sit on my nose!  Definitely check out shadesdaddy for designer sunglasses (the prices are a lot lower than buying them at the stores and they offer free shipping!)

And look, two of my favorite celebs own them too!  Rachel Bilson and Leighton Meester wearing the same pair but mine are in the Plum color.

They were all sold out my bag last year so I’m glad to see it back as I’ve had so many people ask about it!  It’s a great bag and I love wearing it cross body when I’m out walking my dogs (often times we walk them to the neighborhood coffee shop so I want my purse with me) but most of the time I’ve doubled the strap as you can see in the picture to make it into a shoulder bag.

  26. I NEED some yellow shoes like those! NEED!!! But I don't think I can even spend $60 on some knock-offs. I usually spend about $20-30 on shoes and sometimes that's even expensive for me!

    I agree, a black shoe wouldn't have made the outfit as fantastic. You look great!

  31. You wear colored shoes very well. I used to buy only black and brown shoes. I am starting to buy colored shoes after seeing your collection (cheaper ones of course). Those yellow shoes look so pretty on you.

  36. I love those sunglasses! I too have a horrible time finding sunglasses because of no nose bridge and high cheekbones so when I do find a pair, its a miracle! I'm going to look into this Chloe pair!
