Liz Lange for Target Tank Top – This is the only maternity item I’ve purchased so far as my sister recommended these tanks.  I actually love them, they are so comfy!  Perfect layering tank.  It is SUPER long though but I’m sure they will come in handy when my bump is much bigger.
J Crew Floral Jeans – I love these floral jeans and they also have these that are the same style, different pattern.

Lookbook: Hello Kitty Color Block

What I’m Wearing
Forever 21 x Hello Kitty Blouse – As an adult I do feel silly wearing hello kitty but the subtle-ish print like this is perfect for me to show my love for hello kitty! 
J Crew Tippi Sweater – always in rotation in my closet.  The perfect sweater that’s not too thin and not too bulky.  I layer it with everything.  On sale in stripes!
Rag & Bone jeans – No longer available in this color.  These have great stretch in them which during pregnancy, anything with stretch in them has been a lifesaver! Similar color and style at Banana Republic.  Or even better, the same color and style at Forever 21 for $25!
Miu Miu heels – You can see a better shot of them here, they are sparkle mania! Mary Jane version here in silver  and here in black.  LOVE these glitter sole mirror pumps.
YSL Mini Cabas Chyc – the new Saint Laurent Chyc is shaped a little bit different but still very similar.  That one is the large version, here is the medium version.  My mini version is a bit hard to find, I’d keep an eye out and just snag it at Nordstrom or Saks if you see it in person and you want it.  It’s a hard bag to track down!
t+j Designs Luxe Gemstone Necklace – one of my favorite necklaces to wear under the collar of a button down blouse.  It just pairs so nicely and is the perfect amount of bling.

Thank you so much for all the sweet congrats messages from yesterday’s post!  I so appreciate all the kind words and am lucky to be a part of this blogger community that we all get to share in each other’s joys, excitements and achievements in life. I’ll admit pregnancy has not been a favorite thing of mine.  First trimester was seriously brutal – exhausted and nauseous all the time (also the reason why I had to miss out on going to NYC with my sister for fashion week!) but 2nd trimester has been much kinder to me.  I promise to not turn my blog into a pregnancy/baby blog but I’m sure you’ll hear about it occasionally and thank you for sticking around if you do! 🙂

Lookbook: Sweater Dress

What I’m Wearing
Sheinside Sweater Dress – I did not expect this to be a dress when I ordered it but it works perfectly as one for a shorty like me.  It’s sold out but here are a few other similar selections, love the gray dress with the leather panels and the houndstooth sweater dress as well.
J Crew Bow Coat – I love this coat, mainly for the color and the bow 🙂  It was a great investment though, it’s warm and it fits through the shoulders and the sleeves.  One thing that I don’t love is that it’s a bit long on me so it makes me look shorter but they don’t make the coat in a petite size.  (I’m wearing the 00 if you are wondering about sizing, so for me it runs true to size)  I also contemplated the Majesty Peacoat (on sale) as it does come in petite sizing.  I was able to get my bow coat on sale but it’s back to regular price now.  Maybe wait another month or so and it will go back on sale?
Fleece Lined Leggings
– if you live in a cold climate, you NEED these.  I’m serious!  I don’t know how I lived without them.
Sergio Rossi Boots – mine are old but similar here and here.
Miu Miu Bow Bag – adore this bag and kinda wanting it in a brighter color.  I love it in this pretty coral!  Perfect for spring.
Lavnin Sunglasses c/o Sunglasses Shop – It’s totally not the season for sunglasses (however we do have a few sporadic days of sun) but loving my new sunglasses.  I’m really impressed with the selection of designer sunglasses at Sunglasses Shop, they’ve got all my favorites, Chanel, Miu Miu, Chloe, Oliver Peoples.  And the prices are really dang good!  I’ve got my eye on these Chanel Bow sunglasses next!

Lookbook: Pumpkin

What I’m Wearing
ASOS Classic Trench – have had this trench for awhile now and it’s my go to coat for the less windy days.  It’s a bit too cold for it now though!
Happy Scarf  – thank you to the team at Happy Scarf who take care of me every season with a box full of awesome scarves!  I’m obsessed with scarves and never leave home without one.  All the scarves are soooo soft and they have a ton of great prints.  I get asked about my scarves all the time and I always point them to Happy Scarf (plus I just love the name!)
Rag & Bone Sweater – bought this sweater because I wanted a bright colored sweater and then debated forever about keeping it as I wasn’t sure about the color.  I don’t tend to wear orange a lot and didn’t want to look like a pumpkin.  Finally put it on one day and decided it was the perfect orange!  I love it now.
Rag & Bone coated jeans – Similar and on sale.  I love these coated jeans that give a bit of a leather look.  I also have them in black and they totally look like leather pants.  Highly recommended.  Plus a ton cheaper than buying real leather pants!  There’s actually quite a few coated jeans on sale.  These Citizens and these Rich & Skinny jeans are 40% off
Miu Miu Pumps – if you’re lucky you might still be able to catch the leather versions of these on sale!  Same with the suede & glitter pumps!  I love those.
YSL Mini Chyc – Here in the regular size.  I’ve also contemplated the Mulberry Bayswater tote as well.  It’s really similar in size and shape.
Chanel Ring – Anniversary present from my husband 🙂

I’m definitely lucky in that I adore my in laws.  I know a lot of people that don’t have the same situation so am very thankful that I have amazing in laws 🙂  We went to visit them a few weeks ago and my mother in law is a fabulous quilter so we were talking about a few things and we ended up going to the fabric store.  While we were there, we found this adorable polka dot fabric that already had the elastic on top, I’m assuming for beginner (or lazy?) sewers that don’t want to deal with sewing the elastic on.  I thought it was too cute and bought the fabric and my mother in law did her magic on the sewing machine and I had a very adorable skirt in under an hour!  She actually added a bit of tulle to the bottom of it which made it even more adorable.  I love it so much, thanks N!

Lookbook: Tweed and Teal

What I’m Wearing
Zara Tweed Jacket – Tweed can be expensive but Zara has some great options.  I got this in the summer so it’s now sold out but I’m eyeing this tweed top!  This tweed jacket is gorgeous and on sale for under $90.  Also in love with this tweed and leather jacket for a pretty reasonable price.
Romwe Top – sold out.  Cute pink blouse with cut outs.
Shop Sosie Letta Skirt (c/o) – I’m kind of obsessed with this color.  A few other options, adorable peplum skirt in the same color (under $20) and J Crew has a very similar shade in a pencil skirt.
Miu Miu Bow Bag – Love Miu Miu bags, I’ve got my eye on this jeweled crossbody bag next!

I took this awhile ago, before my Mexico vacation so I promise I’m not alternating between being tan and pale.  haha!  I was just really pale before I left for Mexico.  After looking at the pics that I’ve been taking lately, I’m glad I finally got some color to my skin.  I needed it!  I feel a bit Easter-y in this outfit but I just really love this skirt that Shop Sosie sent me and wanted to pair it with something equally cheerful.

I’ve always been more of a pink and purple girl but lately have been gravitating towards these pretty greens and blues.  I wore my J Crew Jules dress for my mom’s birthday dinner and just loved the color.  It’s now on sale for 50% off.

Lookbook: Neon Blast

What I’m Wearing
J Crew Tippi Sweater (on sale!) – in polka dot print and heart print is still available and on sale.  There are certain styles at J Crew that I buy multiples of, the Blythe Blouse, the Cafe Capri Pants and this Tippi Sweater.  The fit is fantastic and they always have a ton of pretty colors and patterns.  For this sweater, I went up a size for a baggier, more casual fit so stay true to size if you want a more fitted style.
Gap Printed Shorts – Adore these shorts, have been wearing them a lot this summer.  Also comes in Ikat print and cute neon ombre.

I fell off the healthy bandwagon, it’s so hard during the summer when you’re meeting up with friends all the time, going to BBQ’s, sitting outside enjoying all the happy hours around the city, plus how come everyone’s birthday’s are in the summer?  I’ve been eating lots of cake!  Anyway… too many temptations.  So I’m going to try to get back on and start cooking again.  I want to mix things up and try new recipes.  Would love to get recommendations for good healthy cookbooks or websites/blogs.  If you know of any, please share!  Thanks! 🙂
