Cute Fall Outfit Ideas for Moms

It’s almost fall which for mom’s it’s back to school season and lots and lots of activities! We usually take a bit of a break in the summer with classes and activities but once fall is here, we’ve got dance, music, sports and more! My day to day schedule is always different. As someone who works for herself and works from home, I’m also out running to meetings, appointments, errands, seeing friends for lunch and more all before I pick up my daughter from school and head to all her after school activities. Comfort is key but since I need to be put together during the day I also try to keep my outfits simple, stylish and cute!

Cute Fall Outfit Ideas for Moms

I also have another thing to think of as I’m currently almost 8 months pregnant so I can not fit into my regular clothes! Loose dresses are my best friend right now and thank goodness that I can find so many cute options and not spend a lot.

Since fall is still not super cold here, I like to make sure that I’m layered in case the weather changes which it often does.

COMFORTABLE AND STYLISH SHOES

My Rothy’s flats were my go-to shoes this summer. I even got to twin with my daughter in our mommy and me shoes! So I was excited to partner up with them again for the fall collection. The colors are gorgeous and perfect for fall. And of course they are just the most comfortable flats so I wear them all the time.

ADDING A POP OF COLOR

The pop of color is really the perfect accent in fall when you tend to go a bit more neutral in your outfits. As I mentioned, I’m living in dresses lately to fit this bump but I also love the flats with jeans and leggings. They truly take your “mom uniform” to the next level!

RECYLED MATERIALS AND MACHINE WASHABLE

If you’ve never tried them before, the material is a very soft knit that’s actually made of recycled fibers that make them both soft and strong. The shoes are truly one of the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn and I love that they are machine washable too!

Being in my third trimester, comfortable is all I want but I also don’t think you have to be frumpy or discard your style during these last few months. The best shoes to buy at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018

Get a head start on your fall shopping and snag these must have fall shoes, boots and sneakers before sizes go out! Several are on sale at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale so you’ll definitely want to buy them before prices go up next week!

NEUTRAL FALL BOOTIES FOR ALL YOUR OUTFITS

These booties have to be one of the best buys at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. They’re under $80, the quality is so great for the price and they are really comfortable to walk in. I stayed true to size with these however if you like to wear thick socks with your boots I would go up a size.

BLOCK HEELS FOR LESS THAN $50

I wish I could still wear my stilettos but let’s be real, once I have two little ones running around, my days of stiletto wearing will go down. I’m still a fan of heels though so block heels have been my jam. I love these black pumps and they even come in a really pretty lilac velvet. Go up half size as they run a bit small.

I don’t care how impractical shoes for babies are. I will always love baby shoes and put my baby in them! 🙂 Freshly Picked moccasins are my favorite shoes for babies as they are not only adorable but really soft and easy to put on/take off. Best of all, they are really hard for the baby to kick off! If you know babies, they can kick off socks and shoes like nobody’s business. I had a few outings where we started off with 2 socks on and came home with none!

Shoes for pre-schoolers

My 4 year old is quite the fashionista and is actually very particular about her shoes. I like to put her in shoes that are easy for her to take on/off herself but also are cute and comfortable to do lots of running and playing. Nike and Adidas are staples in our house for both me and her and these ones are our current favorites. The white Nike shoes are on sale for the Anniversary Sale! Mom tip: We replaced the laces on the with these self tie laces!

Comfy shoes for pregnant moms

Being pregnant, I know that the farther along I get, I’ll just want to wear comfy sneakers every day. I tend to go for fun colors (see my rose gold ones below!) and I knew that I could work pink/blush in with most of my outfits. The are nice and lightweight, perfect for summer. I already own the Nike Thea in several colors and they are really cute with jeans so I had to get them in this pretty light pink color as well.

My rose gold Nike’s are old (got them last year) but you can get the same version of these shoes in pink on sale at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! They have been really popular on my instagram so had to share them here. These run true to size.

NIKE CORTEZ – TOP ANNIVERSARY SALE PICK!

These pink Nike Epic React FlyKnits are not on sale however, I always get requests for cute sneakers and by the time I post them, they are sold out! I wanted to post these ASAP while they are still available, but hurry sizes are going fast! The color is “Pink Pearl” and they literally are the most perfect pink sneakers. I adore them and love that they fit snugly so I don’t have to wear socks. I personally don’t like wearing socks, but if you do, I recommend sizing up half size to one size up.

20 Espadrilles That You Need This Spring

Thank goodness the weather is finally thinking about warming up! I love espadrilles and found 20 pairs of espadrilles that you’ll want to wear all spring or summer!

Espadrille Wedge Sandals

Espadrille wedge sandals are a definite favorite of mine and I am all about the blush tones for the season! Sometimes it can be hard with tie sandals like the ones below but the straps are suede so they are a lot more likely to stay and be comfortable!

I just bought these eyelet sandals and I also own the very popular Marc Fisher sandals (blogged about them multiple times, here, here and here). Although the scalloped Chloe wedges are my favorite, they are quite pricey, so the others are all more budget friendly!

Flat Espadrille Sandals

As much as I love my heels, there’s so many cute flat espadrille sandals out there right now that caught my eye! How gorgeous are these embellished sandals.

I love the extra height the platform espadrilles gives and I’m really loving the espadrille sneakers. The bow espadrilles may be my favorite though!

FANCY ESPADRILLES

Espadrilles don’t have to be strictly casual, you can find some really cute ones to dress up your outfit! I’m dying over these embellished platform heels, they are gorgeous!

The embellishments and studs are so pretty on these! These are a bit pricier but I’ve tried on the Valentino flat espadrilles and they are so comfy!

I just had to add these Ciao Bella espadrilles because they are so fun! The perfect vacation shoe!

The cutest shoes and bags to buy on Amazon right NOW

I have been obsessed with block heels sandals all summer and I got a few pairs at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale but then I stumbled upon these for more than 50% off and I was SO happy. Not only are they super cute, they are so comfy as well! The block heel makes them so easy to walk in for hours.

Amazon is my best kept secret for finding the cutest bags and shoes on SALE! I shared these on instagram and facebook and realized that I haven’t blogged about them yet!

The one thing about shopping on Amazon is that you kind of have to go hunting for the deals and also prices change all the time. What’s even more confusing is, depending on the item, you can click on different sizes and different colors and get different prices! But what I’ve found is that a little bit of searching, definitely pays off which is how I ended up finding both of these shoes that originally retailed for $130+ and I got them for $50!

I also have to mention this bag as it’s SO cute and a great bag for fall. Amazon recently started a few fashion lines of their own and this bag is from THE FIX line which is just bags and shoes. I’m sad that their shoes start at a size 6 (sad for those of us with small feet!) but their bags are super cute and the quality is so good for the price. I actually took the strap off of it and added this cute floral bag strap (that’s only $24 from Amazon too!) I told you, I am finding the cutest accessories on Amazon!

I also wore the strappy buckle heels to the Create & Cultivate Seattle conference that was this weekend at the Microsoft campus. It was SUCH an amazing conference, I was so happy to be able to attend! I wore these shoes all day and did plenty of walking and my feet had no complaints!

The tie up shoes are also very comfy and I love the gray. These ones come in 9 colors and they are all really great fall colors! I know that Seattle isn’t the best for open toe shoes during fall but right now when it’s still cooling down and the rain hasn’t started yet, these are the shoes that I am wearing constantly.

Yes, I’m totally obsessed with the bag straps! They just make all my bags so much better! Full disclosure: My friend’s company sells them on Amazon and I help her take photos for her site and on Amazon and she gifts me the bag straps, but even if she didn’t I would still buy them, they not only are a great way to update your bag, but they make all my bags much more comfortable to carry. The heart bag strap is my favorite, I’m trying to convince her to get it in black too! The straps are very strong and sturdy and I can wear them crossbody and over the shoulder and they stay put!

I think that the sales are so good on Amazon because people tend to forget that they can buy these brands on Amazon too! So, before everyone discovers my secret, I’m happily enjoying the deals and sharing them with you!

I really want them in pink but the nude ones will go with so many more outfits.

I can’t do enough posts about Amazon Prime Day. There are just so many good things on sale! The one thing about Amazon is that it’s impossible to shop. I can understand the frustration of clicking through pages and pages of stuff and not really knowing what I’m looking at. Because I do shop on Amazon quite frequently, I’ve learned little tips and tricks to help me find what I need. I was just browsing and noticing how many cute shoes are currently included in the Amazon Prime Day Deals. Most of these are 30% off their original price and because a lot of these are Designer brands, it’s just so rare to see any kind of discounts on them. You know I love shoes. And I know you love shoes too! So I just got these in and had to take pics to make sure that you knew about them too! They are all SO cute and comfy and I know I’ll be wearing them a ton once the weather warms up.

BOW WEDGES – I wore these all day last Friday and I would have worn them again if it hadn’t rained all weekend! I love love them, you can kind of see them in this instagram pic. They are SO cute! Get them HERE and it comes in 4 colors. I’m really tempted to get them in the taupe color too! They run true to size. The bow ties stay on well too! I can’t stand wearing shoes where the ties are always coming off and you constantly have to re-tie them
STUDDED ESPADRILLES – Trust me, you will probably be seeing these way too much on my instagram this summer. The second I put them on, I fell in love! I really want them in the other colors too! The studs are just the right touch and they are just so cute on. This color is really good though because they look good with dark denim, light denim and white denim. Runs true to size.

You remember my post about the shoes that every blogger has? Well I’m so glad that I snagged a pair of the Marc Fisher Adalyn Wedges because they are the most comfy and cute shoes ever! I am already planning all my spring outfits around them 🙂

Is anyone else obsessed with tassels and pom poms lately? This clutch is SO cute! And I love the pop of color it gives to every outfit.

And let’s not forget about this cute top. Cold shoulder AND bell sleeves? Sold! Also the color is so pretty! I love all things blush. I suspect it will be one of those tops that will sell out quickly so snag one here. I also tried it on in white and it is darling (photos to come of that one!).
