Holding on to the last bit of summer! I know my days of wearing shorts are numbered so I’ve been trying to wear them as much as I can. Just love the J Crew 3″ shorts. I have so many pairs and picked up another pair this past weekend as they are all on sale in stores too.

What I’m Wearing OASAP floral wrinkled blouse (c/o) – Here in a different color scheme. It’s a lot more wrinkly in person than it is in their picture. I thought it was supposed to be wrinkly so I left it but I’ll steam it before I wear it next time to see if I can get it a little less wrinkly. Madewell Shorts – no longer available. Madewell is offering an additional 30% off all sale! My picks are these lace shorts, floral shorts, the market popover and the colorpop jeans. I have the jeans in red and purple and they are the softest, most comfortable jeans I own. You can see the market popover and the jeans on me in this post. Miss Dior Peeptoe Pumps – here in a higher platform and closed toe. You’ve probably heard me talk about these pumps a lot. They are a big time favorite of mine (I have them in 2 colors) and they are the kind of shoes that I will never get tired of. Classic and comfy! Alexander Wang Rocco Bag – why does my bag look like I have nothing in it? Oh, it’s because it has practically nothing in it! I can only carry a few things in there because the purse weighs a ton on it’s own! Just to let you know in case you are thinking about buying it. OMG have you seen his newest satchel? It is GORGEOUS. Definitely adding that to my wishlist. t+j Designs Star Studs (comes in a set with pink ones too). Gold and White Enamel Bangle Setand Pink Enamel Bracelet. New bow necklace – coming next week! It’s one of my favorites of our latest designs. It’s so simple and sweet and comes in 4 colors. Chloe cat eye sunglasses – similar, I love the scallop ones as well.
If you can believe it, I just steamed my shorts right before taking this picture. These are the wrinkliest shorts ever! I sat down for about 10 mins and it looked like this. But then since my shirt was so wrinkly, I thought I’d just wear a completely wrinkled outfit 🙂
What I’m Wearing LC by Lauren Conrad (last season, c/o Kohl’s) – Similar cardigan here. I love the LC stuff at Kohl’s. Just ordered this floral chiffon jacket and hi-low skirt. Romwe Blouse – similar blouse here. It’s hard to navigate their site but I’ve found some cute stuff! I just placed my second order with them and this time it came super fast so shipping is kind of hit and miss but I’ve loved all my items thus far. Madewell Jeans – yes I realize one side was not cuffed. I of course didn’t discover this until after the pictures were taken. haha, oh well! YSL TribToo pumps – similar Brian Atwood pumps Chloe Marcie bag – I get a lot of questions about what color bag to buy and I always suggest gray. I’m such a fan of gray bags. It’s funny because I actually don’t own that many black bags but I own a ton of gray! It’s my neutral and works great for all seasons. t+j Designs Crystal Cuff– love this cuff, it’s so sparkly and it’s adjustable. The necklace is a new design not currently available.
I can hardly believe it’s July! Seattle weather still hasn’t gotten the memo about it being July so I’m still wearing jeans but my legs say “thank you” because they are currently so pale that they don’t belong in shorts anyway! Decided to bring the sunshine in with this pretty yellow blouse, I love it!
OK so what do you guys think about all those monthly subscription boxes? Popsugar just started one and it’s so vague about what’s going to be in it but I’m intrigued so I signed up (plus, I think the first one is always the best one to be a part of because they make sure to get the best stuff to entice people to sign up for the next one.) What I’m Wearing *Elizabeth and James Blazer (similar, gorgeous cream version too) *Madewell Soft Silk Boyshirt *Seven for all Mankind Bell Bottoms – I bought them in the Petite sizing but they do have regular sizing too. I didn’t get mine hemmed, I just wear really tall shoes 🙂 Oh and they run true to size but they do sit high on your waist so if you’re not used to that I think you’d be fine to go up a size too. *Chloe Marcie– Mine was from last season so the color is not available anymore. (I do love this light gray color too) I love my bag, however a little disappointed that the leather hasn’t softened up much. It creates the weird wrinkles at the bottom of the bag (because of all the crap I carry) but also because the leather is still pretty stiff. We’ve been so behind in spring weather it’s almost unfair. BUT we’re finally getting some warmth so figured I should post one of my last fall outfits which was perfect for the very gray day. I was having a good hair day which is always nice when captured in pictures. LOL! I was recently sent the John Freida Volume Curls Curling Iron which I had to mention because I’m seriously in love with it. I have both expensive and inexpensive curling irons and this one (which is at a great price point and on sale) may have replaced all of them! And coupled with the Yuko Anti Frizz Leave In Conditioner (which is heat activated so perfect to use when curling my hair) my hair has been quite cooperative lately which makes me happy. What is it about having a good hair day that puts you in a good mood? 🙂

Happy Monday! I had a fun and busy weekend including some good eats and spending time with my in laws! I’ve got a lot to do this week so am excited to dive back in and get things done.
*Seven for All Mankind “The Rachel” Bellbottom – I bought the petite sizing (shorter inseam) but I don’t see it available anymore. These are higher waisted than what I’m used to but in a good way. I stayed true to size for these. If you are pregnant (ahem, my sister 🙂 ) the maternity versions of these are on sale for $59.97!
*Chloe Marcie Small tote – my color is not available any longer but check it out in this gorgeous metallic silver! Also available in black in the Medium size (which is not much bigger than the small).
If you are on my facebook you may remember this adorable tweed jacket that I got from UniQueen all the way back in October. I have no idea why it hasn’t made the blog yet because I’ve been wearing it like crazy, I absolutely love it! You may have recognized it also as it’s been seen on a few other bloggers. Jean showed us how she wore the cream version and Wendy who has the same version of mine, wore it here. Khatu also rocks it in a few of her outfit posts! I’ve never owned a tweed jacket because when I think of tweed jackets, I think of Chanel and then I also think I’ll never be able to afford one so I’ve never really looked anywhere else to buy one. Well, Anna from UniQueen must have known that I was missing one from my life as she surprised me and sent this one over. I fell in love the instant I put it on. When I think of tweed jackets, I also think of Rachel Zoe because she has such an incredible collection and when I think of Rachel Zoe I also think of the really big bellbottom jeans that she wears all the time which was exactly my thought process in putting this outfit together. Silly but true! Especially because these are the bell bottoms that Rachel wore on her show. I will admit, they felt weird at first, I mean the bell bottom is HUGE and I felt like I had to walk all funny because they would swish around when I walked. But they’ve grown on me and I’ve been wearing them a lot more than I expected. Oh and I didn’t get these hemmed but I’m wearing my platform Rag & Bone booties(as seen on me here) with them so they work just fine.

I don’t love this outfit but hey, you win some you lose some 🙂 I do however love the blazer, it was a gift from my mother in law for my birthday and I just adore it! It’s officially the holidays, can you believe it? I’m prepping myself for the food fest that will occur later this week. My mom always prepares a ton of Chinese/Taiwanese food along with the usual turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, etc… so it’s always way too much food! But, I love it! I’m going to try to do a little bit of relaxing this week since the past few weeks have been super stressful. I’m looking forward to it and spending some time with my family. I hope everyone (if you celebrate it) has a great Thanksgiving!
