What I’m Wearing

Zara Sweater – can’t find it online but I just got it at the store when I was in Chicago.  Perfect knit top for my bump!
Blank NYC Maternity Jeans – on sale for $40! I’m wearing the XS and they fit like a size 25/26 regular (non maternity) Blank NYC jeans except these have a nice panel to wear over your bump.  They also have them in corduroy version and colored jeans.
Christian Louboutin Ron Ron heels – Hello gorgeous pink Loubies!  I’ll take these too 🙂

House of Harlow Sunglasses c/o Sunglasses Shop

I’m a sunglasses lover but finding glasses to fit my flat bridge is hard to find.  So happy to find that these House of Harlow ones fit perfectly.  I’ve shopped at Sunglasses Shop previously (that’s also where I got the Lanvin ones) and they have great prices + great selection.  I have yet to own a pair of Rayban Wayfarers but they have a great selection and am thinking of getting a pair!

Comfort is key these days.  Loving my maternity jeans + blazers for when the weather is not quite that warm.  When it gets warm, all I wear is dresses.  Trying not to overthink my wardrobe these days, have so much else going on!  Happy Monday!

I’m playing catch up with my lookbooks so that’s why you still see the cherry blossoms in the background even though they are long gone.  ShopSosie is one of my favorite online shops, they always have a ton of cute styles that I can’t find anywhere else.  They kindly sent over a package of things for me to try and I immediately had to wear this blue dress with the sparrow print.  It’s so cute and it comes with an orange ribbon belt which looks adorable together.  It was still too chilly to go with a short sleeve dress and didn’t feel like doing my regular blazer over dress so tossed on this favorite bow sweater of mine and loved the crazy print mixing combo.

Lookbook: Polka Dot Shirtdress


What  I’m Wearing
Forever 21 Dress – comes in black and is under $20!  Definitely for the shorties though.  I don’t recommend it to anyone who is taller or has longer legs than me as it might be a tad too short!  I adore this drop waist polka dot dress too.
Forever 21 Cardigan – similar but they are out of pink.  Or the same color in a v-neck sweater.
Christian Louboutin Ron Ron pumps – old.  Love these hot hot pink ones!  Similar shape but in black.
Rebecca Minkoff Clutch – my size is great, but also love the mini size.

I think this was the last lookbook I took before I cut my hair.  I was so sick of all this hair and just had no ambition to even to try to style it.  So glad I cut it!  Sometimes a day calls for a comfy dress and cardigan.  I’ve been having more and more of those days but man, this weather has been a bit wacky (it was hailing/snowing on Saturday!) so having to pull out my tights is not making me very happy.  Glad I was able to sneak in this outfit for one relatively warm day.

J Crew Matchstick Cords – on sale for $29.99.  The Toothpick cord is also on sale but they fit a lot slimmer.
Christian Louboutin Simple 100 pumps – I am true to size in these.  The Filo pumps are gorgeous as well, love the updated shape and the platform.

I know I have a J Crew problem when I can wear head to toe J Crew outfits quite often.  Since being pregnant, I’ve been very careful about what clothes that I’m buying since I want to be able to fit into them as I grow.  It’s been helpful though, since J Crew jeans/pants have always been roomy in the waist, I’ve been able to continue wearing them as my belly grows.  For those of you wondering, still no noticeable bump yet but I’m sure it’ll pop any day now! 🙂

On Savvy: Red Resin & Crystal Necklace

If you follow t+j Design on Instagram you may already have seen Savvy sporting a new necklace but had to share it on the blog too.  I swear my dog loves to dress up and even putting a necklace on her she walks with a little bit of a strut.  We often have extra samples or defective pieces laying around so with a few links taken off and a few minor adjustments, voila!  Savvy gets a new necklace!

BB Dakota Vest (on sale for 40% off) – I was a bit cold in this outfit so added the furry vest but took it off when I went inside.  It kept me surprisingly warm!  Also love this really furry vest.  The length looks a bit better for me as this one is a tad long.

This past weekend my sister was in Seattle visiting (and I got to see my precious nephew who is getting cuter by the moment) and we did a photoshoot for our jewelry line on quite possibly the coldest day ever.  It was 28 degrees when I checked the weather and my sister showed up at my place wearing a skirt and no tights!  She braved it and looked fabulous of course but next time I’m definitely not going to pick the coldest day ever to be outside for an hour long photoshoot!

Lookbook: Statement


What I’m Wearing
J Crew blouse – Similar here or here
BCBG Faux Leather Skirt (now on sale!) – similar here in a pretty burgundy or love this faux leather ruffle hem (and only $23!).  The leather on this one looks a bit less faux.  Love mine but it can look a bit plastic-y in some lights.
DKNY Tights – Also, bow print tights?  Yes please!  On another note, I was browsing Nordstrom and came across these sequin leggings.  Aren’t they gorgeous?  I love that it’s just sequins on the front.  So cute, I have to try them out!
Christian Louboutin pumps – I bought these awhile back and forgot the name of them but the Bianca is closest to this style.  I have the Bianca pumps as well and they are a lot more comfy than these ones, the arch is a bit high and awkward so I don’t wear them as much.  I’m eyeing them in navy suede so gorgeous!  And also loving the Filo in the blue sapphire as well.

Wore this for a holiday dinner so pulled out the statement necklace to add a bit more glam to my outfit.  I love necklaces like this where you don’t have to think much about the rest of your outfit and just let the necklace do the talking.
