It’s been quite a year for me and I can’t believe that 2010 is almost over. I had a not-so-good 2009 and coming into 2010 all I could wish for was to be happy again. Well, my wish came true and I had the best 2010 that I could ask for. So many things have happened for me that make me so thankful and feel so lucky to have experienced it all and to have such loving family and friends. I truly am such a lucky girl. This blog is one of those things that have contributed to my happiness as without you guys, your comments, your kind emails, your support, I wouldn’t be the same without it all. Not going to write too much just wanted to wish you all a very happy new year and best wishes for the coming year!
I’ve been bad at updating my Project 365 (taking a picture every day this year) on my flickr but I haven’t abandoned the project! I have been taking pictures every day and although I loved it and love looking back at the pictures, I have to say I’m so glad it’s almost over! Not sure I’ll ever do this again so I’m sure glad I did it this year! Here’s a random sampling of recent pictures that I took.
Dulce de Leche cookies that my friend Christie and I made together. They were yummy!
Flowers from my boss for doing an awesome job (and just for being awesome in general. hehe!)
Holiday lights at night
Pretty font and pretty dresses at Nordstrom

All were post processed in Photoshop using some kind of action from Totally Rad Actions.
As you may know, we recently took our first trip to Washington DC and really had a wonderful time there. I was there for work but made sure to do some sightseeing and eat some really delicious food. Just thought I’d post a little photo journal of the sights we saw. No explanation is really necessary for travel pictures!

I’ve been going like the energizer bunny, I just keep going and going and going. My crazy schedule is um crazy but at least it’s never boring. My one wish at the moment is that I get to stay home and not be on a plane for an entire month! (That won’t happen anytime soon.) On the plus side, I’m now a GOLD MVP on the airline I fly on (I feel special. Ha!) Awhile ago someone on formspring asked me what my daily schedule was like and I can’t remember what my answer was but I’m sure that it was much more different than what my schedule is like now. So anyway, I thought I’d just share a little bit of what my weeks are like these days. Here’s what’s been going on in my past 3 weeks.

So there you go, its nearly impossible to plan my weeks these days as it changes on a whim! Although things have been hectic and I’ve had one (OK, maybe two) breakdowns, especially when it comes to last minute travel, it’s a wonderfully crazy life I live but I can’t imagine it any other way!
P.S. We were finally able to update the photography blog so check out our latest post of what we’ve been up to!
Just had to share these pictures with my fellow Hello Kitty lovers out there. On our way back home at the Taipei airport, there was an entire gate dedicated to Hello Kitty and it was absolutely adorable!

Like I mentioned before, J had brought his camera with him and either he or his dad were taking pictures along the way. It was kind of neat as it seemed like the professional pictures were like the “movie” and our pictures were like the “behind the scenes” so it was fun to have everything documented.
Just a random selection from our camera:
I highly recommend Tensing Pen as a venue for a destination wedding. The property is beyond amazing and the staff is fabulous as well. Planning is a bit hard because communication is not the easiest working with them but once you are there, they make sure you are taken care of. Food was awesome and every meal there was fantastic. They took care of every detail that I had asked for even down to the flowers on the cake.
I used Tai Floral (Tensing Pen’s recommended florist) and they were a bit hard to work with but in the end I got what I wanted. I was disappointed in my bouquet (if you notice in my pictures, it rarely makes an appearance) but it was probably my fault that I wasn’t that clear with them. The reception flowers were beautiful and they did a great job with my direction on them. They were pretty pricey, I certainly wished I hadn’t spend a couple hundred for my bouquet that I barely carried but I don’t regret using them.
The minister that Tensing Pen hired for us was fabulous! He was kind enough to stand to the side of us while performing the ceremony to keep the focus on just us which I thought was nice of him to think about. We officially got married in September but we wanted to have a nice ceremony while in Jamaica too. It didn’t save us that much money as we still had to pay for the minister’s services but it was definitely worth it.
We used Tensing Pen’s recommended transportation for all of our trips outside the resort and the drivers were always great and friendly. Just be sure to negotiate the rate before you get in the car. Sometimes they will charge by person which can make it pretty pricey for just a short ride.
For those of you have read through my wedding day posts I think you all know how much I love my pictures so highly recommend Punam Bean Photography for destination weddings. We could not have asked for anyone better to photograph our wedding. Everyone in my family is just in awe of all the great pictures we have of all of us.
