Just a couple of simple and casual looks that I will be wearing all summer. I like to get dressed up but for the most part I stay pretty casual. I wanted to share these two looks for my favorite ways to stay casual yet stylish!
I love a cute graphic tee, especially ones with my favorite things on it! LOL. I actually don’t like pizza that much but I love prosecco. My husband, however, could eat pizza every day of the week, so I like that this tee combines our tee favorite things 🙂
I’ve mentioned it before but the midi trend is so great for shorties like me! I love that I can feel like i’m wearing a maxi dress and not have to get it hemmed. This one is a fave as it’s so comfy and flattering on. And it’s on sale now for $40!
These high waisted jeans are a life saver on those days where you’re feeling the bloat! I wasn’t a fan before as it feels a bit funny to wear them at first but now I love them! And yes, I’ve mentioned this bag strap one too many times but I still don’t know what I’d do without it. I love it and it made me love this bag again that used to be stuffed in the back of my closet!
I know dresses are typically more dressy but I love finding comfy dresses to wear on my casual days. It’s just such an easy outfit and with a dress like this where it’s light and flowy, it’s almost like you are wearing pajamas!
I’m really into bags and bag accessories this season. There’s just so many fun options now!
I know I’ve talked about these bag straps already but I am obsessed! They’ve revived all my bags! I haven’t carried this Saint Laurent bag in awhile because the strap that came with it actually broke off. But now I have a brand new and even better bag strap to carry my bag. It just makes the bag so much fun and I get so many compliments on it whenever I go. It’s one of those conversation starters, where everyone wants to know where I got it from. And when I tell people it’s only $24 and on Amazon, everyone gets on their phone to order it! 🙂
And if you didn’t have enough of pom poms and tassels, this mini tote is SO cute! The funny thing is I brought it home and my daughter immediately claimed it for herself! She did let me know that she would share it with me. LOL. It’s adorable and even though it’s small it’s still carries a good amount!
The pom pom clutch comes in 3 colors and this black one is so fun! Even though I don’t wear as much black during the warmer months, I love that this incorporates the dark with the neon.
And lastly the Gucci bag you’ve probably seen on every blogger but I had to jump on the bandwagon and get it in this gorgeous pink color. I thought that I might regret it but I’ve been carrying it so much and with almost every outfit that I think I’ve already gotten my money’s worth!
I’ve been trying to get on instagram stories more often as I really love being able to interact with you guys this way. I did a really quick little shopping haul of a bunch of stuff I just got in the mail. I posted it to my facebook page as well and got a lot of great feedback about it which I really appreciate! I sometimes feel like I’m blogging to nobody so it’s nice to hear from those of you reading and following along. I have found some really great finds on Amazon fashion lately and love their new clothing lines, (they have a few that is just exclusive to them.) I mean I don’t know how I lived without it!

I love memorial day weekend as I’m sure most people do as it’s pretty much the holiday that kicks off summer! I can’t help but love adding a little red, white and blue to my outfit but I try to be a bit more subtle about it (and stylish!) so that it’s not like I’m wearing a giant flag. We don’t have a lot planned but we usually are pretty active during the weekends anyway, so we will be hanging out with a few friends and generally enjoying what is going to be a beautiful weekend! I’m really looking forward to it. For times like these, I love cute tops with jeans or shorts. It’s pretty much my go to look.

It comes in petite and regular sizing which is so great because sometimes when I wear tops like this the ruffle can be overwhelming. I loved that this fit me so well. I’m wearing the PXS. A friend of mine recently started selling these BAG STRAPS and I’m so obsessed with them! I helped her photograph them for her site and now I can’t stop using them. I literally have them on all my totes/bags that have handles to attach them to. They are super easy to attach and they are only $24! This 2nd outfit is great if you are like me and are always worried about being cold. Seriously, it can be 80 outside and I’ll still make sure that my daughter and I have a jacket with us. I love long sleeve dresses so it’s no surprise that I love wearing long sleeve tops with shorts. It’s like my insurance that I won’t be cold on a hot day! This one is so great though, with the tie sleeves it’s basically like air conditioning for your top 😉
The top comes in 4 colors (I really want the pink too!) AND I just saw that it just went on sale for 40% off! I notice that tops like these always sell out fast as soon as it gets marked down so grab it while you can! I’m wearing the regular XS but it also comes in petite sizing.
As you can see I added the studded bag strap to this bag. If you have this Prada bag, you know it gets kind of heavy after awhile and it’s annoying to always just hold it by the handles. Mine did come with a cross body strap but it never was very comfortable to wear so I’m so happy to have something more sturdy and cute!
I am always wearing my WHITE JEANS. I can’t help it, they just go with everything these days! So I always just try to find cute tops to wear with them and these two are some of my favorite tops lately. As mentioned on my mom’s hair makeover post, I also got my hair cut at Gene Juarez and I’m loving my new hair! I always go through the same phase with my hair where I want my hair to be really long and then the second it gets long I just want to cut it off. I’ve learned my lesson to not to cut too short (my round face can’t handle too short of a cut!) so I usually just take a few inches off but enough to make a difference. My stylist really listened to what I wanted and added in some layers but also left enough length to show off my balayage which I still love.
Before we did the cut, I also had a scalp treatment which I’ve never had before but highly recommend! It was the Phytodess Scalp Treatment which combines essential oils and natural clay to decongest and soothe your scalp. It was basically a mask but for your scalp. The scalp treatment was only about 15 minutes and then I had the Kérastase Rejuvenation treatment which targets the hair surface and core to help solidify and rejuvenate hair. I loved having these treatments before my hair cut to really help get my hair and scalp healthy again. I could really tell the difference a day after my cut how much more bouncy and shiny my hair was.
How fun is this bell sleeve tie top? I’m loving top with fun sleeves these days. It’s the perfect spring transition top. The one thing about these giant sleeves is eating or washing hands is kind of annoying. But I guess small price to pay for a cute top 🙂
I just love my shorter ‘do. It’s still long enough for a ponytail and is easy for me to curl. I also really loved the whole experience at Gene Juarez. Everyone there is so sweet and I feel like everyone from the receptionist to your stylist, genuinely wants you to have the best experience there.

I love kimono cardigans for the spring and summer and this one is so cute and looks great with jeans and a tee which is basically my lazy day spring uniform.
I love this dress as I often want to buy maxi dresses but I hate having to always hem them to fit me. This dress works great for shorties like me. I also love that I can dress it up with heels but looks so cute with comfy sneakers!
Two things I’m loving lately, brightly colored bags and bell sleeves. Kind of obsessed with this top that combines the cold shoulder and bell sleeve trend.
This is one of my favorite tops of the season! I wore it when I spoke at the Seattle Style Summit and got so many compliments. I wear it a ton and I’m still not sick of it! It just one of those tops that I always reach for when I can’t figure out what else to wear.

Lately I’ve added so many off the shoulder, one shoulder tops and dresses that I needed to find a good strapless bra.
I then got some really pretty lace dresses and realized that even a strapless bra wouldn’t do as the backs of the dresses were unlined and because it was lace, it was gorgeous but made it so that you couldn’t wear anything underneath.
I don’t like to go braless so went hunting for a solution and found the best backless, strapless bra!
You basically put it on and then adjust the center ties to create more or less of a push up look.
I recently wore it all night under a dress and I loved that it was comfortable to wear, easy to put on and take off (the adhesive does not hurt) and it totally stays put!
I think we all struggle with bras wether we are looking for the right one for an outfit, trying to find the right fit or just plain trying to find ones that are comfortable.
