I was traveling all last week, first in San Francisco and then in LA. We have a lot of fun and exciting things coming up for my business, t+j Designs so we were there for business and had meetings upon meetings every day. Being with my sister who’s also a blogger, we of course made some time in between meetings to get some pictures in!

Crystal had written about the best photo backdrops in LA a few months ago and after I read it, I knew I had to visit these heart stairs in Silverlake! If you want to look for them, the real name is the “Micheltorena Stairs” We stayed in downtown LA and it only took us about 15 minutes to get to there. If you want to know more about Silverlake, Crystal wrote a fab post about the area as well. It was such a beautiful day but not many people around. We took photos for about 15 minutes and only one other person came up to take photos as well.

It was such a great trip but after a full week away and it being my second trip in less than 2 months away from my daughter and husband, I am so happy to be back home! Chanel Mini Flap Bag Review

I’ve had my Chanel mini flap bag for a little bit now and I have had a few readers ask me about the bag so I put together a video on what I liked about it, what I carry in it and what it looks like on me. Overall it’s such a fun bag and although it looks small it carries a lot, I would say the same if not more than a medium flap! The one thing is, if you are going to be carrying it around as much as I do and use it as an everyday bag, try to get the caviar leather. The lambskin is so delicate and I’ve noticed the corners are looking a bit weary. Overall, it’s still a favorite bag.

As far as I know, these bags sell very quickly and there is usually a waitlist for them. If you really want one, the best bet is to let a sales associate know what you are looking for. If you are not picky about color, you will have better luck. But just let them know and you will be put on the waitlist so that the second they get one in, it can be yours!

Lookbook: Jordana Paige Cora

This is the part of summer that I just love, it’s always the perfect temperature and we try to spend as much time outside as we can. I live in dresses during the summer and this is one of my favorite dresses!

How gorgeous is this bag? I recently discovered Jordana Paige and her line of gorgeous handbags. I absolutely love the size of this Cora bag and the lavender color is so pretty! It’s made of vegan leather and the quality of the bag is great, it’s really sturdy and holds it’s shape, has a ton of pockets and comes with a shoulder strap! The best part that I forgot to show in the photos is the front pocket part zips off and becomes it’s own little wristlet! How genius of an idea is that? I love that so when I’m in a hurry and with my daughter I can just zip it off, pop it into the diaper bag and I’m out the door. I also love that she’s a small business owner/designer. I love supporting another #girlboss! The bag comes in a few different colors, go check it out and her other styles too!

Lookbook: Zebras

I recently met Marissa, the founder and designer of Symbology and loved her story of how she created her company which helps support female artisans around the world (who take part in creating each piece). I love that it creates a very personal touch to all of her designs. She offered to send me a tunic from her line and I just adore this zebra print!

I’m typically such a girly girl so not a very typical outfit for me but I like to change it up once in awhile! I’m loving all the cherry blossoms all around Seattle so I’m always stopping to take photos, it’s so nice that it’s finally spring although I feel like it came up so fast, this year is flying by! I’m loving the new earring silhouettes like the double studs and the ear jackets. This ear crawler/ear cuff is a favorite though. I wear it all the time and it’s just so different but easy to wear with all my outfits!

I got this lace top at Ann Taylor (it’s super marked down now!) and have been pairing it with everything. I don’t know why I didn’t have a basic lace top before but glad I do now! I love our new line of skirts and I’m not just saying that because it’s our design! I adore how it poofs out just right and of course the stripes! Just a fun fact: It’s so hard to find the right size stripe on the right kind of fabric that this is custom made for us at our factory. Same with our polka dot fabric! You would think that stripes and dots would be easy to come by but it certainly isn’t!

Lookbook: Pardon Moi

We had a bit of a sunny streak last week so spent one afternoon taking photos for t+j Designs. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and headed to the waterfront to take more photos and just had to grab some photos with the gorgeous Seattle background.
