Cute Thanksgiving Outfits for the whole family

The Thanksgiving season is here! And with Thanksgiving just around the corner, I thought it would be great to create a roundup full of family Thanksgiving outfits to give you inspiration for the big day.

Whether you are enjoying a more casual dinner or are celebrating in a formal setting, I have options for it all for you below. Don’t miss it below!

family thanksgiving outfits

When it comes to dressing my family for any special occasion, I like to be intentional with what I choose for each family member.

We typically take family photos on holidays, so I do like to coordinate our outfits whether it be with similar color palettes or styles.

And when it comes to Thanksgiving, comfort is the ultimate goal for everyone in the family.

A comfy outfit is essential for turkey day (hello pumpkin pie!), but I also find it essential as Thanksgiving is typically an all day occasion and both myself, my husband as well as our little kids need to be comfortable to enjoy all of the festivities.

Thanksgiving Outfits for Moms

When it comes to dressing myself, I like to stick to neutrals and avoid anything that is too constricting.

I typically like to avoid jeans and bodysuits on this day. If I am in need of something more casual I opt for leggings or a maxi flowy dress.

Over the knee and knee-high boots are the perfect accessory for your Thanksgiving outfit!

They look so cute with so many items (skirts, maxi dresses, leggings, etc.!) and work best for cooler weather as well.

I love the color of this maxi dress and this is something that looks so stylish but is extremely functional to wear during all of the festivities.

Maxi dresses look great with all different kinds of shoes so you can switch it up depending on your plans, and if it is colder outside you can top it with a long coat or a puffer jacket.

A cute oversized sweater, faux leather leggings and ugg boots is the perfect outfit for a Fall day and is so comfy for Thanksgiving.

You could easily dress this same outfit up with booties or heels and some statement earrings.

SHOP CASUAL: SWEATER | LEGGINGS | BELT BAG | BOOTS

If you are heading to a more formal family gathering, this cozy sweater dress is SO flattering!

The wrap style really accentuates the waist, but the soft fabric makes it easy to wear all day long. You could pair these with strappy heels as I’ve shown, or some fab knee high boots.

SHOP DRESSY: DRESS | BAG | HEELS | EARRINGS

Thanksgiving Outfits for Dads

For my husband, the simpler the better when it comes to finding an outfit for him.

Here is a casual outfit idea that would work for most dinner settings, and a formal Thanksgiving dinner outfit idea incase if you are heading somewhere more fancy!

Men’s CASUAL thanksgiving outfit: JEANS | FLANNEL | SUNGLASSES | SNEAKERS

You can’t go wrong with a great pair of jeans, a flannel and some nice sneakers. Whether you’re playing football outside with the kids or hosting dinner at home, this outfit works for both.

Men’s DRESSY thanksgiving outfit: PANTS | PULLOVER SWEATER | BOOTS | WATCH

When it comes to a more formal look for men, I like a pair of dark pants and a sleek pullover sweater. It is simple and sophisticated, paired with a great pair of boots that will be comfortable all day.

My girls and I love coordinating our looks, and matching your little girls dress to yours is such an easy way to feel cohesive and ensure that they are comfortable too!

Whether it be the exact same dresses, matching a similar print, or sticking to a color palette, these combinations make for the perfect thanksgiving day outfits.

Again, leggings are always the answer for me to feel comfy and eat all of the yummy Thanksgiving food there is, and I know my daughters feel the same.

A cute tunic sweater, leggings and a great pair of boots are the perfect casual look.

Whether it be a pretty dress for girls or a great sweater and jeans combination, these are sure to be a hit with your little ones!

GIRLS Thanksgiving outfit idea: DRESS | BLACK BOOTS | SWEATER | JEANS | SNEAKERS

For boys, I would opt for jeans and a pullover sweater for a more casual feel, or a buttondown and khakis for a more formal setting.

SHOP BOYS Thanksgiving outfit idea: SWEATER | JEANS | SNEAKERS | FLANNEL | KHAKI PANTS

Thanksgiving Outfits for Babies

Can’t forget about your littlest family members! They have some of the cutest holiday outfits for babies and they make dressing for turkey day a breeze.

A coordinated set like a cute onesie with overalls, or a onesie with leggings is a great go to that you know your infant can be cozy in all day long.

BABY GIRLS THANKSGIVING OUTFIT: CABLE KNIT SWEATER OUTFIT | WINTER BOOTS | HEADBANDS | THANKSGIVING OUTFIT | BOW MOCCASINS

When it comes to dressing little boys, the simpler the better! I found this adorable jumpsuit that is truly perfect for Fall, and I can’t get over this mini suspenders outfit if you’re looking for something more formal.

My number 1 tips when it comes to dressing for the Thanksgiving season is to give yourself some grace and plan out your outfits ahead of time so that you are not stressing last minute.

At the end of the day what is most important is spending time around the dinner table with loved ones, enjoying a delicious meal and being thankful for it all.

Whether you have a professional photographer taking family portraits, or you are taking the picture yourself, the outfits you wear when taking pictures are definitely the focus of family photos in summer.

Here are the best color schemes for your family summer photoshoot, and tons of outfit ideas for everyone in your family.

MY TOP TIPS FOR PLANNING SUMMER OUTFITS FOR FAMILY PHOTOS

  • Location – What will your “backdrop” look like? You want to keep this in mind so you don’t blend in to the background. Also, if you are inside or outside you will want to make sure your outfits fit the “theme” of the location. Summer months are always really warm and you want your family to be comfortable, especially if you are outside.
  • Occasion – Are you planning to frame these in your home? Create a photo album? Print and share with extended family/friends? This is something to consider when choosing your outfits.
  • Color Palette – You will want to consider your backdrop/location and with it being Summer, I tend to opt for either crisp neutral tones, or bright colors that flatter all of the members of your family, and make it easy to coordinate together for a cohesive look. If you want everyone to be matching, you will want to choose 1 color or print that works well for everyone.
  • Inspiration – need more inspiration? Create a Pinterest board with photos that you love with the color scheme that you are going for.

BEST COLOR PALETTE IDEAS FOR SUMMER FAMILY PHOTOS

Crisp Whites/Light Gray – For a monochrome look that is so crisp and clean. You can do this with all white outfits or even do white tops paired with blue jeans for a classic look.

This is a great idea especially for a summer vacation look if you plan on taking photos at a beach or a more tropical location.

original post: The cutest mother daughter matching outfits

Bright Colors – Summer is the time to bust out the bright colors, pick different shades that look best on each family member.

Try to have each family member wearing a different bright color for a really fun and bold look for summer family pictures.

original post: Tips to taking the perfect family vacation photos

Shades of Blue and White – A classic color combo that lends a coastal feel. Blue and white together are the best colors for the summer as it feels so classic.

Chambray is a great option for this as it is breathable and stylish. Pair a chambray shirt with white denim shorts and you are set.

Neutrals – A mix of tan, beige, black, brown, ivory and gray feels classic and sophisticated.

I always love how neutrals look, and when I am planning photos that will framed I like to stick to a neutral palette so that it goes with home decor in every room.

You can stick with solid colors here if you are trying to avoid too much pattern mixing.

Pastels – Cheerful and flattering on all skin tones, pastels are so fun for summer family photoshoots. Think baby blues, blush pinks and pale yellows.

These tones not only look great in photographs but are appropriate for summer weather as darker colors tend to make you warmer.

Shades of Pink – For a fun mix up, rock different shades of pink/neutrals! If you have a little girl or maybe a gender reveal/maternity shoot this would be fun to do to get the whole family dressed in pink!

Different shades of pinks/blush/mauve etc. would look so gorgeous all together.

Primary Colors – A classic combo that feels preppy and festive. This is a great classic summer feel that adds tons of visual interest, but also would look awesome if used for a holiday card later on in the year.

Each family member can wear different colors but if you stay within the primary colors it will still feel cohesive.

Earth Tones – For a more laid vibe and effortless feel – earth tones are flattering on all skin tones and are really easy to pair together to create a cohesive look.

Warm colors are great and have a timeless feel if you are planning on using these photos for displaying in your home.

Tip: You don’t have to hire a professional photographer for your family photo shoot. You can set up a tripod and remote, however if you do, ask your photographer about the location and their suggestions about colors/patterns that may match well with the environment.

Family sessions are some of my favorite times to make memories with my kids so have fun with it and don’t get too stressed about how the photos will turn out!

Family Photoshoot Outfits for Mom:

When it comes to choosing an outfit for myself, I like to opt for something easy and something comfortable.

Typically a pretty, flowy dress is a great choice, but I also love things like rompers and matching sets that take the guesswork out of putting separates together that look cohesive.

It’s a great idea when you don’t have much time to put together looks for everyone in the family!

Look for cotton or linen fabrics to wear for your summer family pictures so that nobody will get overheated or uncomfortable if the weather gets too hot.

Here are some cute finds that I would totally wear for a summer family photo session – they are all from Target and Amazon and are insanely affordable as well as stylish.

summer family photoshoot outfits for moms

As a mom, I know how the pressure to get the whole family dressed and looking nice falls on us!

If you are worried about sitting or certain angles that you don’t find flattering on your body, I recommend opting for flowy dresses and softer tones as they are more forgiving in photos and flattering on everyone!

Also, don’t stress too much. Don’t worry about wearing high heels if it’s not something you normally wear, make sure that you and your family feel comfortable as that is what will make sure the photos turn out great and that your family will have a great time during the shoot!

Family Photo Outfits for Dad:

Most men tend to gravitate towards simple, staple pieces in their wardrobe, especially when it comes to a family photoshoot outfit.

The simpler the better in my opinion, and you cannot go wrong with a nice button down or just crisp t-shirt or a white shirt. Pair with a great pair of pants or shorts and it’s the perfect outfit for dads.

When it comes to matching, especially if you are doing a color scheme or matching print, I highly suggest finding a shirt to fit the theme and keeping the bottoms simple.

Family Photoshoot Outfits for Girls:

My girls LOVE to wear dresses all year round so I typically opt for an easy floral print dress or cute romper for them as well for our family photoshoots.

girls floral dresses and shoes

This way I know they will be comfortable and we don’t have to deal with matching a bunch of different outfit pieces for everyone.

Floral patterns are always great for the summer. You could do brighter colors or neutral colors or even neon colors! The pattern and colors just work well with the warmer weather.

I love to find cute maxi dresses for them or even breathable rompers that they will wear all summer long, even after the family photo sessions.

family photo outfit ideas for Boys:

Again, when it comes to boys keep it simple. Wardrobe staples that are comfortable and that you don’t have to make a big fuss over.

I find when my kids are comfortable in what they are wearing, the photos come out so much better as they are just natural and candid instead of feeling really stiff and forced.

For boys I think it’s great to grab a nice button down, henley or polo and a nice pair of shorts/pants. Find colors that are cohesive with the theme and you are set.

I wanted to provide some ideas for older boys as well as toddlers! You can shop these outfits below:

Since it’s easiest to take photos in nice weather, summer is a popular time to plan out your family pictures and especially great if you are planning beach sessions.

The important thing to remember is that everyone is comfortable and having fun! Stick with your personal style, don’t try to copy something out of a magazine if it’s not something you would normally do.

Your family photographer will also appreciate it as it will be easier for them to capture your family as they are.

What to Wear for Spring Family Pictures: Tips + Outfit ideas

It is that time of year again for Spring pictures! My family and I take photos every year during the Spring as well as the Holiday season and I am always so happy to have the beautiful memories to look back on.

If you are planning to take photos this season as well, I’ve rounded up tons of ideas and inspiration on what to wear for Spring pictures.

Whether you have a big family or are taking photos by yourself, this post will be helpful to you! You want to make sure that you feel your best in what you’re wearing for pictures as that confidence comes through in the photos.

Check out my tips for taking pictures and my outfit ideas below. These are all great ideas for the spring when the weather warms up and also great ideas for some adorable mommy and me easter outfits too!

What to Wear for Spring Pictures

Pin the above photo to your fave Pinterest board to refer back to when you are prepping for your next spring pictures!

Key Details to Consider Before Planning Outfits for Photos

  • Season – Time of year plays a roll in the weather and of course you want all outfits to be weather appropriate, especially if you are outside
  • Location – The location of your photos is important for multiple reasons. Will you be inside or outside? Outfits will differ depending on this detail. Also, what will your “backdrop” look like? You want to stand out and not blend in to the background, but also wear something appropriate to fit the style and theme of the place
  • Occasion – Are you mailing out themed holiday cards, or planning to frame these in your home? Keep this in mind while planning your outfits so it feels appropriate
  • Color Palette – The color scheme is also important for many reasons and different factors will alter this. Be sure to consider your backdrop/location and the season/occasion. Whether it be neutral tones, bright colors or soft pastels, you of course will want the colors/hues that flatter all of the members of your family, and that coordinate well together
spring family photo outfit ideas

If you are taking Spring family photos, these outfit ideas can work great for the whole family! When it comes to taking a family portrait and coordinating multiple family members, my advice is always to make sure that everyones personal style still comes through even if you are very coordinated via a matching color/theme.

spring family photo outfits

As you can see in the photo above, we are all wearing different outfits but the colors compliment each other and my daughters dresses have the same silhouette – little details like this can help to bring all different looks together into one cohesive feel.

Where to buy spring family photo outfits

Here are some great stores that carry outfits for the whole family so you can do some one stop shopping!

  • H&M – trendy & affordable pieces from casual to dressy
  • Old Navy – Great for basics and they even carry shoes!
  • Buddy Love – not a huge selection but their family matching section has the cutest prints and styles
  • Amazon – If you search for “family matching outfits” you will get a ton of cute and affordable options
  • Target – Always great styles and options however, shop early in the season as I find things sell out so fast!
  • Walmart – Walmart has quickly become one of my favorite spots for finding affordable and cute clothing options for the entire family. You can find some things in store but I find a ton more online!

8 Outfit Theme Ideas to Wear for Spring Pictures:

My girls and I take photos all of the time, so I rounded up some of my favorites of all of our Spring themed looks to share a bunch of ideas and inspiration for outfit themes for your next Spring pictures. Keep in mind that these outfits can work no matter how many people are in your group.

For Spring pictures especially, I love to focus on fun colors and that compliment gorgeous nature scenes in the background. The Spring season is the best time to get outside and as the temperatures rise it is the perfect time to embrace the new season.

#1 All One Color

A really popular theme for family pictures is to coordinate the color scheme and all wear one color! This is a great choice if you have lots of family members to coordinate as it makes it easy and instantly gives a cohesive feel.

lavender outfit ideas

As you can see below, my girls and I did a Spring photoshoot and all wore lavender. This is a color we all love and feels festive and appropriate for the Spring season. Choose whatever color that you &/or your family loves and work around that! It is totally okay if the shades are slightly off, it will still look great all together in the photos.

#2 Mixed Prints

A great way to highlight individual family members personalities is to go for a mixed print theme! As seen below, I wore florals and my daughters wore polka dots. Because their dresses were multi-colored and mine was mostly pink, they still complimented each other even though we did not match perfectly.

mixing prints outfit ideas

My best advice if you want to try the mixed prints route, is to find prints that don’t compete with each other but compliment each other. You can do this by mixing different textures, finding colors that compliment each other and not having too many different contrasting colors in one group.

mother and daughter spring photos

#3 Bright Colors

In my mind, Spring = bright and fun happy colors! A good pop of color always comes across great on film, and is perfectly festive for the Spring season. Bright colors add life to the photo and give a great focal point. They also look fantastic against natural elements, such as trees/florals if you are outside!

bright colors for family pictures

As seen below, my girls and I rocked bright pinks and their dresses featured rainbow colors. You could do this same idea with a pastel palette as well which would be gorgeous for a Spring theme. Whether you prefer warmer tones or lighter colors, focusing on mixing colors that compliment each other is the best way to get that cohesive look and bring together the entire family.

mother and daughter spring pictures outfits

#4 Spring Florals

Florals for Spring are a timeless feel that are always so fun. My girls and I actually wore matching floral dresses in our photo below which I really loved, but you don’t have to be exactly matching to do this outfit theme!

As much as I love matching mommy and me outfits, you could mix and match different florals that have similar color palettes, and for the men in your life you could do floral printed boy’s shirts to keep the theme going.

floral print dresses for mommy and me

When it comes to florals, I like to focus on prints that feel soft and pretty as opposed to looking too busy or bold. The florals should add an element to the overall theme but not overtake it. This is one of my top tips when it comes to wearing a matching print for the whole family.

mother and daughter spring pictures outfits

#5 Casually Coordinated

I love our casual photo shoots just as much as our dressed up ones, as we are typically in casual wear and these photoshoots always seem to capture us in our natural element. For spring photos and a casual spring themed outfit, denim and feminine detailed tees are the perfect go to! My girls wore little button front skirts with ruffled sleeved tops in light colors, and I wore my favorite distressed denim and puffed sleeved tee. These elevated basics are perfect for the Spring season and all look great together even though they are not exactly the same.

spring photo outfit ideas for mom and daughter

#6 Gingham

Gingham is a very popular print for Spring and I absolutely love the way it looks it photographs. We did a yellow gingham theme as shown below and they are truly some of our favorite photos we have! I love the visual interest that this print brings and that is feels so classic and timeless. This is also an easy print for everyone in the family to wear. Whether its a fully printed dress, or just a printed pocket square in dads blazer – this print can be sprinkled throughout the group to create a cohesive feel.

gingham theme spring picture outfits

#7 Dressed Up + Denim

My go to outfit in the Spring is a pretty Spring dress + a denim jacket. It’s the perfect layer for the season, and makes sense for almost every occasion. Take this approach to your next family photo session and you have the perfect effortlessly stylish spring pictures outfit.

As seen below, my daughter and I wore pleated pink skirts, t-shirts and denim jackets in our family photoshoot. I loved that we were fully matching – even down to our purse! You could create this same look with a flowy dress, or cute wide leg pants and a tank with a denim jacket on top.

what to wear for spring family pictures

When it comes to Spring pictures, don’t stress and just have fun with it! Creating these memories is the most important thing and all you truly need is your smile – AKA your best accessory.

If you recreate any of these looks please tag me on instagram @tiffanyish so I can see them! Happy Spring.

Our favorite family friendly getaway in Washington state

We recently went on our first family getaway since 2019! With the pandemic and having two little ones, we wanted to be on the safe side and stay home, but with vaccines available now my husband and I are feeling a bit more comfortable with taking our family out on a fun little adventure!

I’m proud to be partnering on this post with Washington State Department of Health to help spread the word about the COVID-19 vaccine. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

My husband and I have both been fully vaccinated since this spring and we recently also got the COVID-19 booster once we were eligible. It was important to us that we got the booster before our vacation.

I’m also so happy that the COVID-19 vaccine is available for kids 5 and over now. Layla’s school district has done an amazing job at setting up vaccination clinics for the kids that made it so easy for us parents to make appointments and make sure that our kids can get vaccinated.

We headed to Great Wolf Lodge which is one of our favorite destinations. The last time we were there, Edie was still a baby! This time she’s a very busy toddler which was great as there was so much for both the girls to do!

I know it can still feel daunting and you may feel unsure about traveling and taking the kids to new places. I certainly share those same feelings, here’s some tips that helped us feel more comfortable with our recent trip.

  • Check your hotel/destination website on what they are doing in consideration of precautions on their property and any mandates that may be in effect.
  • Bring masks everywhere you go. We gave both the girls masks holders that are easy for them to take on/off when eating but don’t get lost or accidentally fall on the floor.
  • Carry extra masks with you.  I always have a few stashed in my purse and car just in case.
  • If you have older kids, give them a fanny pack or small bag that they can carry with them and always have hand sanitizer and lotion with them. (Hand sanitizer can be very drying to hands so having the lotion will make their hands feel better)
  • Bring your own water bottles and water to keep in your room. It was nice for each of us to have our own water with us so that we didn’t need to make any additional stops along the way since we had a long car ride to get to our destination.

I’m so glad that we got to enjoy this little getaway during the holidays as it’s such a busy season, but being able to spend time with my kids is so important to me. I’m looking forward to making more fun memories like this with them in 2022!

COVID-19 has been so tough for so many of us. I’m so grateful for the COVID-19 vaccine which has allowed us to feel a lot more comfortable with going back to a more normal routine. Did you know that more than 11 million doses have already been given in Washington State. That’s so amazing to me and I’m so happy to hear.

Getting the vaccine and the booster was such an easy process for me and my family. I encourage you all to get the vaccine as well!

Everyone in Washington ages 5 and up is eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine. If you haven’t gotten it yet, now is the time to start the New Year off right. Do it for yourself, your family and your community.

If you have questions or concerns, please speak with your doctor. To learn more – visit covidvaccinewa.org.

Family Friendly Summer Activities in Washington state

It’s been such an interesting year with all of us being at home, wearing masks when we go out and working at home and virtual school for the kids. But the biggest impact to us is not being able to see family! I’ve always been very close to my family and my parents love spending time with their grandkids.

As soon as the COVID-19 vaccine was available for my parents, they made an appointment at their nearest clinic.   My kids made a countdown calendar of how many days left until they could see grandma and grandpa! After being apart for over a year, it was amazing to finally have a timeline of when we could see them safely and spend time together.

This post is sponsored by WA Dept of Health. All opinions are my own. Thank you for your support!

My husband and I got vaccinated when we were eligible and I just have to mention how impressed I was with how easy it was to get an appointment and how organized the process was! They really make it easy for everyone to get vaccinated which I appreciate.

We hadn’t seen my brother and his family all year either, even though they live close by. So as soon as we were all vaccinated, we had to plan a family outing!

It was such an amazing feeling to finally be all together. The weather even cooperated for us to enjoy a day out and it totally felt like things were “normal” again!

I’m sure that I’m not the only one that is excited for the prospect of getting everything back to normal. Getting the vaccine isn’t just about protecting myself, but getting most of us vaccinated is one of the best ways out of this pandemic and it’s one of the only things standing in the way of getting back to many of the things we love to do.

With the summer coming up, I’m looking forward to getting out and doing lots of fun things together and make great memories along the way!

If you are the same and looking for some great summer activities to do with your family, here’s a list to start you out!

Family Friendly Summer Activities in Washington

There’s so much to do in Washington that I could not possibly list them all but these activities are things that my family loves doing again and again and our highly recommended by both kids and adults!

Woodland park Zoo

We love going to the zoo and no better time than now! In our experience, with timed tickets, there have been less crowds (make sure to reserve tickets in advance!) which means you don’t have to wait for your turn at seeing the animals!

The Museum of Flight

With the museum being indoors, this is a great spot if the weather isn’t cooperating but still so much fun! They also have timed tickets to limit the crowds which is so nice! Reserve your tickets online and get $5 Off General Admission every Monday in June!

Berry picking

My favorite thing to do with my kids is to take them to the farms that we have around the state. Berry picking is so fun for everyone. My kids LOVE eating berries so it’s a win win to have them help pick them and then get to enjoy them at home!

  • Mountainview Berry Farm – Blueberry picking starts in July. They also have a sunflower event later in the season where you can take photos with the flowers and pick blueberries!
  • Bailey Family Farm – you can pick a variety of produce from here! From strawberries and raspberries to lettuce and snap peas! Make sure to check their website for their calendar to see what you can pick at the farm.
  • Biringer Farm – berries, berries and more berries! We love this berry farm and you can pick a variety of berries all throughout the summer!

I can’t wait to do all of this and more with not only my parents and family but also with my vaccinated friends! I’m truly looking forward to seeing everyone again and knowing that we are all doing our part and getting the vaccine.

Community immunity is how we beat this virus. To get there, more than 70% of us need to be vaccinated. Getting the vaccine is something that we can all do to help protect the community. The sooner we all get the COVID-19 vaccine, the sooner we get back to normal. To learn more – visit covidvaccinewa.org.

Our Disney Christmas Decor!

This post is in partnership with shopDisney.com and ShopStyle. All opinions are my own.

There are two things that everyone in our house absolutely loves. Christmas and Disney! I love decorating my house for the holidays and my girls get so excited to see anything Mickey and Minnie so I wanted to add some Disney touches to our holiday decor.

My go-to for all things Disney is shopDisney. They have everything from apparel to toys and home decor so I love that I can just do one order and get everything that I need.

Our favorite shopDisney Toys

My girls don’t fight over toys but since they are 5 years apart, they don’t tend to play with the same kinds of toys except for plushies! They both love plushies so much and they are huge fans of Anna and Elsa so I added these to cart as soon as I saw that they were available!

We have gotten the Holiday Minnie Mouse every year since Layla was born so of course I had to add this one to our collection! I love how the date is embroidered into her shoe. It’s a great little keepsake to remember each Christmas!

Layla was over the moon about the Minnie Mouse Doll Holiday Fashion Set! The Minnie Mouse is absolutely darling and she comes with an outfit change, shoes, accessories. I mean it’s so darn cute, I want to just put it up on my desk for display!

The cutest Disney Christmas Sweaters!

I love putting my girls in Christmas sweaters. They will wear them from the moment I buy them until the end of December! We get good use out of them and I have to say that Disney makes some of the cutest Christmas sweaters!

I got this Minnie Mouse sweater for both Layla and Edie but Layla preferred wearing the Minnie Mouse sequin tee (I don’t blame her!) Both are so cute and a great fit for both their sizes.

They make it in adult sizing as well and now that I’ve seen it on my girls, I will be ordering them for my husband and I too!

Disney Christmas Home Decor

One of my favorite things for Christmas is decorating our home and getting my family excited for the holidays! I got a few pieces that I thought Layla and Edie would really enjoy.

This sign is not only gorgeous but it also lights up! I also like that it’s lightweight and I can move it around a lot. My decor never stays the same, I change it around weekly, so I like items that I can move around easily and that are easy to store once the holidays are over.

And how cute is this gingerbread house that helps you countdown until Christmas?! My girls are already so eager to countdown and they love being able to take out the little dice and switch out the numbers.

Not only is it adorable, it’s so fun and interactive too!

We all are obsessed with the Mickey Mouse and Friends Musical Holiday Figurine! I love all the characters on the train and the best part is that it plays music!

I’ve also got my eye on the Holiday Snowglobe and the Holiday Cookie Jar to add to our home!

Finding the right health coverage through Washington Healthplanfinder

As much as I love working for myself there are a few things that come with owning your own business that are not so fun and finding your own health insurance plans is one of them!

I have spent so much time navigating different websites and insurance carriers to figure out what plans worked best for me as well as what worked with my budget. It was confusing, time consuming and not something that I enjoyed at all.

I am so happy to partner with Washington Healthplanfinder to share how it’s helped me out so much! I have used it for the past few years and highly recommend it for everyone who wants to find the best health coverage for themselves and their family. They make it easy to find, compare, and enroll in a health plan for how you’re living now.

I’ve worked for myself for 10 years now, and finding health coverage is something I have to deal with year after year. I’ve gone through so many life changes, from having two babies and other health issues. It’s really important to me to get the coverage that makes sense for whatever is going on in my life.
