Sales on Sales! J Crew, Nordstrom, T&J Designs

It’s too hard to resist all the good sales!  I stopped by J Crew while they were doing an additional 40% off sale and they have the same sale online.  Here’s my favorites out of the bunch I tried on.
 
This ruffle sleeve top is such a pretty color, it’s like a light pink but almost a lilac.  The material is a bit more stiff then I expected but I like it because then the bell sleeves stay puffy!

This cute striped top is similar to the one above but the ruffle on the sleeves is smaller.  I just love the stripes so I did end up taking this one home.

I love this cherry print!  And I’m always a fan of their “popover” style shirts.  They’re so comfy and easy to wear, they tend to be the first style that I grab on the weekends when I want to look cute but don’t want to think too hard about what I want to wear.

Oh this sweater is SO comfy.  I don’t even know why but I’m just loving turtleneck sweaters this year!  I bought this one and immediately wore it the next day.

I just spotted this sweater and had to get it.  I love high low sweaters!  And it’s 50% off!  It comes in 8 colors, I couldn’t decide what color to get.  I went with the white but I think I want the burgundy as well.

And if you want something a little fancier, this faux fur collar and hat is so much fun!  Yes it does double duty!  Looks super cute as a collar and keeps your neck super warm but I love wearing it as a hat too.  It keeps you so warm.

And one of my favorite pieces of all time (even if it wasn’t designed by us!) is this bow cape.  It goes with everything and I even wore it with a sweater this past weekend and I was perfectly warm!

And this tulle skirt is hands down my favorite skirt ever.  I’ve worn it for so many occasions, our family photos, our holiday party and even just out to dinner.

Office Tour! T&J Designs headquarters

 
I love being nosy and seeing people’s home and office spaces so I thought I’d give you guys a peek at my office space!  My office is not completely decorated just yet, it’s still a work in progress but check out my latest video and I show you my office space and what I keep on my desk!

I am in LOVE with this rug.  It’s just so pretty!  Thank you to Rugs USA for sending it over.  Mine is the 5×8 size.  I also love this pink and white diamond shag rug I want to get it for my daughter’s room.  Oh and I’m completely in love with this Moroccan Diamond Shag Rug, I’m just trying to figure out where to put it!

What to wear with Adidas Superstars

I have always been a heels girl but lately I’m loving comfy sneakers, especially Adidas Superstars.  I just can’t get enough!  My husband knows my obsession and he came across these pink ones and ordered them for both me and my daughter.  There’s nothing I love more than matching my daughter!  I’m that cheesy mom that will always match with my daughter for as long as she will let me.

 
  – these are actually kid’s shoes so if you are looking for them in the women’s section you won’t find them!  They are only in the kid’s section.  I’m a women’s size 5 but I can fit kid’s size 3.
I have them in gold as well and I just find that they go with everything!  When we went to Disneyland I walked around in them all day and was so glad to have them!  They are so comfy.

Lookbook: Star Tulle Skirt

My daughter loves all things girly and princess.  When we went to Disneyland I packed two princess dresses (she chose Anna and Belle) and wore them to the park to meet the princess and just had the absolute best time of her life!

I put this skirt on and came out of the room and my daughter gasped and said “mommy, you look beautiful!” it was so cute and I know what she really meant was that the skirt was beautiful and princess-y and everything that she loves!  She wanted to put on her Minnie Mouse dress (can you tell we play lots of dress up in my house?)  and we spent a few minutes twirling in our skirts before we headed out.

TOP SKIRT SHOES EARRINGS

She’s at such a fun age (of course I say that about every age that she’s been) but I just love how she got her love of all things girly from me.  This skirt is so much fun not only to wear but to dance around in!  The skirt has a few layers with the star printed tulle on top and then a bottom layer that also has stars on it and an shorter skirt underneath.  It’s everything pretty, girly and lovely and I just can’t get enough of it!

Lookbook: Dressing up jeans

I live in jeans. No joke, I used to be a lot more varied and wear dresses and skirts a lot more but lately it’s just all jeans all the time.  And although I’m always wearing jeans, I do like to still dress up a little so I always try to keep my eye on cute tops to wear with jeans.  When my sister and I are designing for our line, T&J Designs, we love to design fun, dressy tops and these two are my favorites from our fall collection.

As you can see, you just don’t need much else when your top has such cute accents like the peplum ruffle or the stars print.  Just some simple jewelry (I’m obsessed with chokers lately) and jeans and it’s pretty much my outfit of choice.

Lookbook: Leather Charm Bracelets by LMDC

This top is one of my favorite things I own.  It’s just one of those perfect tops for the summer and just so much fun to wear.  And I guess I should love it being that it’s something that my sister and I designed for our line 🙂

Another thing that I adore are the leather charm bracelets by La Maison Du Carat. 
The charms are so cute and the bracelets are
held together by magnets so it’s very easy to put on and take off.

The top one is the Pantera and actually there’s a little pearl charm attached but it slipped to the back so you can’t see it in my pics.  I love the panther charms and that they move with the bracelet.  it’s such a cute yet sophisticated way to wear a charm bracelet!  The bottom is the Gladio and there is also a pearl charm attached to it.  I love all the mixing of gold, rose gold and silver on these bracelets.  As you can tell with my wedding set, I do love mixing metals, I think it’s such a modern way to wear fine jewelry pieces.

I also have the Royal Charms bracelet which is so pretty and it’s a double wrap bracelet.  And the best part is that you can mix and match all the charms with whatever bracelet you are wearing.  For the quality of the bracelets and the charms, the price is so reasonable. I don’t think I have found another charm bracelet that I have loved this much.
