I did an office look with this blouse last time so thought I’d dress it down for a casual look. It’s quickly becoming that shirt that I want to wear with everything!
And sale alert! I went back to J Crew and they had this top marked down to $29.99 + 30% off making it a whole $20.99! And they also had these cute bright pink skinny jeans (and other colors) marked down to $59.99 + 30% off. I got lucky I found both in my size! (If you are buying online – I sized down for the jeans as I find J Crew jeans fit a tad bigger than other brands). It looks like the extra 30% off hasn’t made it to the online sale yet so if you can, get to your store to see if they have your size left!
What I’m Wearing LC by Lauren Conrad (last season, c/o Kohl’s) – Similar cardigan here. I love the LC stuff at Kohl’s. Just ordered this floral chiffon jacket and hi-low skirt. Romwe Blouse – similar blouse here. It’s hard to navigate their site but I’ve found some cute stuff! I just placed my second order with them and this time it came super fast so shipping is kind of hit and miss but I’ve loved all my items thus far. Madewell Jeans – yes I realize one side was not cuffed. I of course didn’t discover this until after the pictures were taken. haha, oh well! YSL TribToo pumps – similar Brian Atwood pumps Chloe Marcie bag – I get a lot of questions about what color bag to buy and I always suggest gray. I’m such a fan of gray bags. It’s funny because I actually don’t own that many black bags but I own a ton of gray! It’s my neutral and works great for all seasons. t+j Designs Crystal Cuff– love this cuff, it’s so sparkly and it’s adjustable. The necklace is a new design not currently available.
I can hardly believe it’s July! Seattle weather still hasn’t gotten the memo about it being July so I’m still wearing jeans but my legs say “thank you” because they are currently so pale that they don’t belong in shorts anyway! Decided to bring the sunshine in with this pretty yellow blouse, I love it!
OK so what do you guys think about all those monthly subscription boxes? Popsugar just started one and it’s so vague about what’s going to be in it but I’m intrigued so I signed up (plus, I think the first one is always the best one to be a part of because they make sure to get the best stuff to entice people to sign up for the next one.) You can get yours here… To be honest, I’m wondering because we are thinking about doing a jewelry one for our line and would love to hear your thoughts!
*Blazer: LC by Lauren Conrad (gifted from my Kohl’s photo shoot) – I actually have all 3 colors of this blazer and I wear them A LOT. Like I said before in my Kohl’s post, I’m really impressed with the quality of their stuff. These are the perfect boyfriend blazers, they go with so many things and a great price. Sizing – I’m wearing a 0 and I’d say size down if you are unsure.
*Jeans:J Crew Factory Destroyed Matchstick Jean – on sale! – they run much smaller than regular J Crew jeans. Also, they are a bit stiff so not the most comfortable jeans.
*Shoes:YSL TribToo pumps– love these gray stitch ones too! My first lookbook with these! I adooore these shoes, they are one of my top favorites from my collection. On this day, I wore these babies shopping all day long and they were super comfortable.
*Bag: Summer Tote (gift from simply-bags.com) I’ve never owned a monogram bag before and I’ve been eyeing a few beach bags for some upcoming summer trips so I was excited to get this very happy yellow bag and of course had to get the embroidery in pink! I know it’s an odd bag to go with the outfit but since I can’t get to the beach now, it’s acting as my grocery/carry all bag and I love the gigantic-ness of it! It fits everything! Plus the yellow print is just so cheery, I like that it reminds me that summer is just around the corner.
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans and while I like these, I don’t love them. Also, after seeing the pictures, I can definitely see that they need to be shortened as I cuffed them but they look funny because they are still too long. I’m also adjusting to the boyfriend jean look as somebody that has lived in skinny jeans for the past few years this transition is huge to me! But I really like the look of them so just need to find the right pair. I find that the true boyfriend jeans don’t work for me since I am already short legged, the baggy + looseness of traditional boyfriend jeans makes me look even more short. So I’m looking for a pair of “skinny boyfriend” jean if you know what I mean so if you guys have recommendations, let me know! I’ve got my eye on this pair from Madewell or this one from J. Crew. I think I need to get to the mall this week!

*Blazer: Hinge (Nordstrom, from a few years ago) – I’m totally in love with this Hinge Waterfall leather jacket. I think it would look perfect with this outfit!
*Booties: Rag & Bone Lovell Platform Booties – on sale here! Also in brown and purple. After wearing these all winter, I adore them and totally recommend. Very comfy and keep my feet warm and stylish!
The mod podge/glitter clutch is still holding up! 🙂 Anyone else try out this DIY? It’s one of my favorites. I have a few other glitter projects I gotta show you!

In my style challenge outfit I’m wearing the Satin and Pearl Rhinestone necklace. While I love
necklaces, this one was a challenge for me because it’s a lot busier
than what I usually wear and I tend to pair it with a sweater and jeans kind of outfit. I wanted to challenge myself by dressing it up and pairing it with patterns. I tried it out for an outfit that I wore out to a nice dinner and ended up loving the mix of the patterns with the texture of the chain, pearls and rhinestones. What I’m Wearing

Why oh why does Zara torture me by not having a store in Seattle? I love how San Francisco has two stores within walking distance of each other (and I always go to both in case I missed something at the other store). And even with all the amazing shopping in New York, Zara is still one of my favorite stops there. I just can’t help but love their always on trend but not too trendy pieces and although the price point isn’t super cheap, it’s still great for the quality and what you get. At the very least can’t they have an online store? I need my Zara fix!
I showed you all the fun bright pieces that I got from my last shopping haul at Zara and this little striped shirt was a definite “must have” when I spotted it on the hanger. I don’t have anything similar to it and I just adore the colors.
Oh and I’m so excited to share with you guys that my sister recently started a blog! Growing up I always wanted to wear whatever my sister was wearing and actually that still applies now but too bad she lives too far away to share closets. If I can only convince her and her husband to move back to the west coast. haha 😉 Anyway, I may be biased because she’s my sister but she is super fabulous, so check her out here!

Did you see the Refinery 29 Reserve deal? $150 for $300 at Rag and Bone! I had to get the deal as they make my favorite skinny jeans ever. I really want one of their bright color skinnies but can’t decide what color! Should I get the mint, salmon, bright cobalt or kelly green? Decisions, decisions!
I always like to pair stripes with stripes and I don’t have a brightly colored stiped cardigan like this, it would look so cute with the yellow top. Or this bright stripe cardigan too.
Michael Antonio Love Me Pump
Yellow pumps just brighten up any outfit! If you don’t want to spend a lot, these Michael Antonio pumps are a great choice, however, I do love the color and style of the Giuseppe Zanotti heels! You can’t be shy when wearing yellow shoes, they attract a lot of attention! 🙂
Also, if you didn’t know already, Nordstrom is having their half yearly sale! I’m not in town so I can’t shop in the store but I’ve been doing some online shopping and have ordered a few things that I can’t wait to get! I got this adorable Joie Ruffle Sleeve Silk Blouse, I think it will look so cute with shorts or a skirt. I also got this Marc by Marc Jacobs blouse is gorgeous for work paired with a slim pencil skirt. And I had to add in these Alexis Bittar bangles. I’ve always loved Alexis Bittar but couldn’t pull the trigger because of the price so I’m happy they are on sale! Oh and the advantage of online shopping is using ebates so don’t forget to use them, they upped the Nordstrom cashback to 5%!
