Simple and Festive Easter Balloon Arch Ideas

One tip that I learned is to use different sizes of balloons. Mix larger balloons with smaller balloons within your own balloon arch to make it look professional!

Although these are great ideas for Easter, they would be great for other occasions like baby showers, birthday parties and school events.

Easter Balloon Garland DIY

You can easily DIY these ideas below – just purchase the colored balloons of your choice in various sizes and be sure to grab this super affordable balloon arch strip and glue dots which makes it super easy to secure the balloons all together into the arch shape! Make sure to have this electric balloon pump on hand to make blowing up the balloons way faster.

Easter Bunny Ears Balloon Arch

When I think of Easter I of course first think of the Easter Bunny. I love the idea of doing an easter bunny ear themed balloon arch. Or if you are doing a bunny party theme, this is a great idea for you.

This one below is so cute with the gold inside of the ears and just simply attaching them to a white balloon. This way you can feature the pretty pastel colors along with the bunny balloons and create the most beautiful balloon arch for beautiful party decorations.

If you prefer to go large scale with your balloon arches, this one would sure to be a hit for all the little ones! I love the cute arch shape, this would be the perfect entrance to an Easter egg hunt!

What a great idea to decorate for corporate events or grand openings, especially if it happens to be around Easter!

All you need are white and pink balloons to create the ears, and the same white balloons to create the arch way shape. I know my girls would love to run underneath this cute arch way! How cute would it be to line the path leading up to it with easter eggs?

Spring Floral Balloon Arch

Easter is the season of gorgeous pastels and Spring flowers, combine the two and you can have a jaw dropping-ly gorgeous balloon arch that is perfect for the holiday.

It would be great to combine daisies and other spring flowers into the mix. I love this idea as it would work for all kinds of events and for party goers of all ages.

This would be stunning for a Spring wedding, you could use the space as a dessert table.

Carrot Patch Easter Balloon Garland

This has to be one of the prettiest “carrot patches” I have seen! Love the colors of the balloons and the addition of the greenery and florals. So pretty!

You must head over to Kara’s Party Ideas to see the rest of the photos. This balloon arch is not only great for Easter, it’s great for any time of the year!

Easter Egg Balloon Arch

When I saw this DIY Easter egg balloon idea it instantly sparked a thought to do this in a larger scale in a balloon arch style! All you need are different color balloons, and white paint to create the “easter egg” designs on them.

You could create an entire arch full of decorated easter egg balloons that would be the perfect addition to any party.

Easter Basket Balloon Arch

How genius is this easter basket ballon arch? I thought this was so clever and actually would be more simple than it looks to put together!

You just need white balloons and then mini sized colored balloons to add in the basket details. Just use the glue dot stickers to secure them into the basket shape! I know my daughters would get a kick out of this easter basket that is larger than them!

Easter Carrot Balloon Arch

How fun and festive are these carrot balloon sculptures? These could be easily turned into an arch shape as well or would work great as the “posts” on either side of a pretty balloon arch!

This balloon display is so creative, they basically created a scene/backdrop with the balloons which would be an awesome photo op background for a birthday party!

The grass is made up of small green balloons and longer skinny balloons for the tall grass. The little daisy and flower shapes are simple to put together with smaller balloons and stickers to secure them together. You can really get creative with an idea like this and the kids would absolutely love it!

On a smaller scale, I thought these carrot balloons were an adorable detail to add to a pre-made balloon arch to make it instantly Easter appropriate and take it to the next level!

How fun would it be added to balloon bouquets too!

Easter Carrot Balloon Arch

Spring Pastels Balloon Arch

I am a sucker for the gorgeous pastel hues in the Spring time and I thought this gorgeous colorful balloon arch complete with a gold ring was simply stunning. The “hippity hop” word balloons are the most adorable touch, and you can find individual script lettered balloons to create your own saying!

Easter Rainbow Balloon Arch

Rainbows are the sign of Spring in my mind, and the idea of a pastel rainbow arch seems to be the perfect color scheme for an easter party! This is so simple as you really just need the colors/sizes you prefer and the balloon arch kit to create this statement piece or just get this kit here that comes with everything that you need.

Pastel Balloon Arch Kit

I love the idea of adding pops of speckled gold balloons into a pastel rainbow mix as well! You could even splatter gold paint onto standard balloons to recreate this look yourself with this balloon arch kit.

Easter Rainbow Balloon Arch

Peter Rabbit Balloon Arch

How precious is this Peter Rabbit themed balloon arch? I love the neutral colors mixed with the pretty blue hues. This would be stunning for an Easer function, but would also be great for a baby shower or a special event for kids!

Peter Rabbit Balloon Arch
(Buy the kit here)

easter daisy balloon arch

Add some spring to your Easter garland with daisy balloons! If you don’t put the daisies up on the garland you could use them as balloon centerpieces too.

You can buy the balloons and streamer kit here.

Peeps Bunny Balloon Mosaic

OK this isn’t a balloon garland but I couldn’t resist adding this in! What a cute idea and love that you can fill with whatever color balloons you’d like. You can buy this template and then recreate this at home however many times you’d like!

And don’t miss the cute Carrots Balloon Mosaic too!

How to Decorate Your Walls for Cheap - 18 CHEAP DIY WALL DECOR IDEAS

#1 Use a photo ledge to create a gallery wall

Here’s an easy idea that my husband put up in our house. This is great if you don’t want to worry about the logistics of putting up a gallery wall (spacing, nail holes, etc…) and are looking to put together a cheap gallery wall.

Use a picture ledge/shelf! I love it as I’m able to change out the photos easily and can even take off a few photos and add in some art work that the kids made too.

#2 extra large photos to fill up a wall

Another idea that I did in my house were these giant sized photos (they are 20×30). My husband and I shot the photos of our girls and just had fun with it!. All you need is a to capture your kids doing something fun or have them make funny faces and I’m sure you’ll love them!

My frames and photos are from framebridge. They print and frame all at once so it was very efficient for me to do it this way.

But for a less expensive option, you can also get black and white engineering prints. These can be done by your local print shop or Office Depot or Staples! Head to Chris loves Julia to get all the details on how to get them done. (Her 3 large prints cost $8!)

#3 Frame your jewelry as wall decor

This wall in my house is my favorite wall ever! And whenever I share photos of this room on my instagram, I get so many questions on how we did it.

The necklaces are samples from when I owned a jewelry line, but if you have necklaces sitting around that aren’t being worn, it’s a great way to re-purpose them! Really you can use any item you’d like as you can treat these like shadow boxes as well.

diy frame wall decor idea

My husband used frames from Ikea and then cut and measured boards to fit the frames and then drilled the holes to hold the necklaces. We then taped the necklaces to the back of the board.

It’s a bit time consuming but once it’s all put together, you have a wonderfully unique art wall with repurposed items that you already owned!

#4 Reclaimed Wood Decor

Using scrap pieces of wood to turn into wall decor is not only ALMOST free, it also has endless possibilities of what you can create.

How to make”Bored In The House” tee shirts at home

If you are on TikTok you are probably quite familiar with the “Bored in the house” song.

I got it stuck in my head one day and decided to pull out my Cricut Maker to make Bored in the House – In the House Bored tee shirts for me and my girls!

Bored in the house DIY tee

You may have seen this photo on my instagram. I got a few DM’s to find out how to make it themselves so wanted to share my design file.

Free “Bored in the House” Cricut Design File

It’s super easy when you use Cricut Design Space as you can choose your own font but if you want to use my file, head here for my Bored in the house Cricut file.

You can adjust the sizing easily to fit your size of tees. I did 10″ across for the mama tee, 7″ across for the child tee and 5″ across for the toddler tee.

Bored in the house DIY Cricut tees

If you’ve never made a tee with infusible ink, it’s super easy. There’s lots of great tutorials on youtube so check one out before you start! It really only took me about 15 minutes from start to finish!

How to make custom tees for women and kids on your Cricut Maker

  • Cut out design from Cricut Design Space to your Cricut Maker (or other similar machine)
    • You can use my file or create your own – Be sure to “mirror” the design
  • Once it’s cut, remove the negative spaces from the design – leave only the design that you want printed on the transfer sheet
  • Place the sheet on the tee where you would like the design.
    • I measure from armpit to armpit to make sure that the design is centered.
  • Using the Easy Press, heat up the design
    • Layer the butcher paper that comes with the infusible ink, over the design
    • Make sure to follow all the directions on using your iron or Easy Press 2
  • Take off the transfer sheet and your design is now on your tee!

My notes on using Cricut Infusible Ink

I have used the Cricut blanks that are made specifically for infusible ink and they do work best. The prints are very vibrant and bright.

I bought cotton blend tees and found that I needed more time with the Easy Press than what was recommended. So keep that in mind if you are using blanks that are not designed for use with your Cricut. You can buy the Cricut Blank tees and other materials on their site.

Don’t forget to swap the wording!

For the wording on my tee I just swapped the “In the house” and “Bored” from top to bottom so make sure to do that if you want your tee to have a different saying than your kids.

Don’t limit yourself to a tee shirt, you can use this on a tote bag or even use vinyl and put it on a mug!

Don’t miss these posts for more project ideas to do with your Cricut!

25 DIY Personalized Gift Ideas that anyone can do with their Cricut

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine.

Ever since I was young I have loved making my own gifts and ever since I got my Cricut Maker, it’s opened the door to making so many fun things. I created these Grandma’s Kitchen tees for Layla to gift to Grandma and I loved seeing how excited Layla was about the gift. It even inspired her to pull out her arts and crafts box to make her own gifts to give to family which I love!

As much as fun as it is to shop for a gift, personalizing something yourself just makes gift giving that much better. Sometimes I can get stuck on ideas on what to gift which is why I wanted to round up the 25 best DIY Personalized Gift Ideas that you can make with your Cricut. I hope that this not only helps you out with some gift ideas but it will be a great list for me to refer to when I’m creating my presents every year!
